An adorable baby girl died after being found unresponsive at her daycare as it was revealed that the staff had not all been trained in required CPR.
Dakota Becker was just three months old when first responders were called to a daycare facility where she was discovered to be not breathing.
The heartbreaking discovery came at 10:58 am on March 11 at the Plume Academy Daycare in Bossier, Louisiana.
According to Bossier officials, Bossier City Fire Department was dispatched to the 5500 block of Barksdale Boulevard.
CPR was performed and the baby girl was rushed to hospital, where she was tragically pronounced dead.

Dakota's mother, Kelly Becker, said 'Dakota was the biggest blessing and came into this world full force with no waiting. We love and miss her dearly.'
She told KSLA that the family does not suspect that the daycare did anything wrong on their end.
'I just really would like to clear up that we do not suspect anything in the daycare’s end. While Dakota was there, they took great care of her along with out oldest daughter, Blake, for the last three years,' Becker said.
It is unclear who performed the CPR on Dakota, or whether they worked for the daycare or were one of the first responders on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
After launching their own investigation into the daycare, KSLA discovered that Plume Academy has a history of other incidents.
In 2023, CPR certification requirements were not met on two different instances, citing that there was a deficiency due to failure to show documentation that all staff members were infant, child and adult CPR certified, KSLA reported.
Last year, two inspections of the daycare found that there were two more deficiencies.

There were separate instances in which staff members who cared for the children did not have up-to-date certifications in pediatric first aid training approved by the department.
On September 15, a staff member failed to notify child welfare within 24 hours of a critical incident during which a one-year-old child's arm was pulled out of its socket after playing with a two-year-old.
The staff member stated they did not report the incident because she didn’t think she needed to.
