Sophia noted that she wanted to be in the delivery room so that she could hear her 'brother's first breath and I wanted to hang out with my mom' and because she 'likes medical stuff.'
Sophia told viewers she was 'prepared' because she watched 'videos' online.
Ashley said: 'There was a lot of fluid and stuff like that, but it wasn't too bad gross, was it?' Sophia replied: 'Not really.'
The mom-of-three then asked if she would do it again.
She said: 'So if you had the chance, would you do it again? If mommy had another baby, would you wanna go in there again?
Sophia responded: 'Yeah.'
Ashely added: 'She's mature for her age. She likes kind of gross stuff. Like, you know, she doesn't get grossed out.'
In a follow-up video, Ashely and Sophia responded to the comments and Sophia said she wasn't traumatized
She added that she thinks more parents should allow their kids to watch them give birth because it's a 'great experience.'
At the end of the video, Sophia assured viewers she still wanted to have kids and wasn't traumatized.
Ashley told Newsweek: 'She's a mini version of me, so I wasn't surprised that she wanted to be there. I knew she would be fine in terms of it being gross or too graphic, I was more concerned about her understanding the risk factors were and knowing that I would be in pain.
'I definitely recommend having siblings present in the right circumstances, and with a plan in place in case something goes wrong. It can be a very positive experience, but I don't think it's for every child.'
