A Manhattan skyscraper has registered a fire on its roof, filling the Financial District with smoke on Wednesday.
Images of the luxury skyscraper at 125 Greenwich, which is still under construction, are being shared online as people speculate where the fire is coming from.
The NY Fire Department told DailyMail.com the fire is contained to the HVAC system and they are monitoring the situation.
No injuries have been reported as of 10am EST.
The 800-feet residential building, named The Greenwhich by Rafael Viñoly, has 72 stories and is nearing completion.

It is believed the fire started after a piece of equipment on the rood caught fire.
'Is this a fire in lower Manhattan? Or just some building exhaust?' asked on X user as they shared pictures of the scene.
Social media users reported being able to see the smoke cloud from across the Hudson River in New Jersey.
The building has been in construction for at least five years, having been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is expected to open its doors later this year and serve as a tribute to its late architect, the renowned designer Viñoly, who died in March, 2023.
The luxury building is supposed to feature 272 residences to the city - ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments and a suite of penthouse residences, according to Design Boom.
Pricing for the units reportedly starts at t $1,115,000.
The skyscraper's plans also featured a saltwater lap pool and a fitness center, as well as panoramic views of the Hudson, the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center.
