As President Joe Biden makes a campaign swing meeting with voters in multiple states this week, the latest polling shows former President Trump leading Biden in four crucial battleground states.

Both Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, have already secured enough delegates to be their parties' presidential nominees and are headed toward combative rematch come November.

But new polls from Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona and Nevada all show Trump with an edge.

The new Marist poll out of Georgia released on Wednesday showed Trump up by four points in a head-to-head matchup.

Trump had 51 percent. Biden had 47 percent among registered Georgia voters in a state Biden won by less than 12,000 votes in 2020.

Factoring in Independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr., Trump's lead widened to five points.

Voters believed Biden would do better on preserving Democracy and abortion rights, but Trump did better on immigration and the economy.

It showed a growing divide that has also been reflected in other polling across the country. Biden did better with women while Trump did better with men.

Biden also beat Trump with college educated voters 57 percent to 42 percent but those numbers reversed for Trump with non-college educated voters.

While Trump did better with white voters overall, Biden did better with non-white voters and particularly among black voters in the state.

It comes as both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are set to visit Raleigh next week.
