A flight attendant has shared the real reason behind the tiny black triangles often seen on plane walls.
Henny Lim, an air hostess with the Philippines-based airline Cebu Pacific, revealed the triangles indicate the best spot on the plane to view the wings clearly.
In a now-viral TikTok video she said the stickers above the middle windows offer the best view of the wings for passengers - but also let flight attendants know the 'best vantage points for the slats and flaps outside'.
The short clip has since amassed more than 304,000 views, with many admitting they had never noticed the small sticker before.
'Passengers sitting next to the triangles get the best view of the wings,' Henny wrote in the video while recording the inside of an empty plane.
Henny Lim, an air hostess with the Philippines-based airline Cebu Pacific, revealed the multiple reasons for the small triangles
'If you're flying an airline that allows you to choose your own seat, look for one of the triangles in the cabin.
'Anybody who loves taking window shots or videos will get the best view over the wings from these seats.'
'Very informative,' one person commented, another said: 'Thanks so much for the tip.'

Previously Henny also revealed the real reason why airplane windows all have tiny holes in them.
She said the punctures are also called 'bleed holes' and are essential for safety.
'The tiny hole helps balance the pressure difference between the cabin and the outside air,' Henny said in a video.
Airplane windows are made up of three layers of glass and acrylic to keep them insulated and secure.
