Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is attempting to disbar Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis after a judge ruled she could stay on the Trump election interference case in Georgia.

In a post on Thursday, Greene wrote 'I’m filing a complaint to disbar Fulton County DA Fani Willis for her corrupt actions.'

The close ally of Donald Trump wrote that Willis 'should've been removed from her political persecution of President Trump after it was revealed she went on lavish vacations with her lover Nathan Wade.'

Anyone can submit a grievance in writing against a lawyer practicing in the state with bar. However, the early stages of any investigation are completely confidential.

Greene's move to disbar Willis comes less than a week after Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ruled Willis can stay on the Trump election interference case in Georgia as long as Wade removed himself from the case.

Wade resigned that afternoon just hours after the decision came down.

It followed weeks of dramatic testimony that included both Willis and Wade taking the stand as lawyers attempted to get Willis disqualified over the relationship.

Had Willis been removed, it could have had major implications for the case that the former president tried to illegally overturn the 2020 election in Georgia where he narrowly lost to President Joe Biden.

Lawyers for Trump's co-defendant first made the allegations in January that Willis and Wade had a personal relationship where she improperly benefitted as Wade was paid more than $600,000 serving as a special prosecutor on the case.

McAfee ruled on Friday that there was a 'tremendous lapse in judgement' on Willis part, but there was not enough evidence to show her relationship with Wade amounted to an actual conflict of interest.

Greene, who has long been a stanch supporter of the ex-president and frequently joins him on the campaign trail as he mounts a bid for a second term in the White House, reacted to the judge's decision Friday saying he should also have recused himself from the case.

Greene accused Willis of lying under oath and baselessly claimed Willis conspired with the White House.

McAfee on Wednesday cleared the way for Trump and other co-defendants to appeal the ruling allowing Willis can remain.

Greene is not the only Republican lawmaker taking aim at those who have brought cases against the ex-president.

GOP New York Congresswoman Claudia Tenney on Thursday slammed state Attorney General Letitia James on X writing 'Disbar Letitia James and remove her from office.'

It came as James appears to be gearing up to potentially seize Trump properties in Westchester County should the ex-president fail to secure the $454 million bond in his New York fraud case.

Trump is facing a Monday deadline to pay the massive judge-ordered fine, but his lawyers have said he has been unable to secure the bond.

They asked it be waived or he post a smaller amount as they appeal the ruling.
