A woman has celebrated her 106th birthday by visiting Walt Disney World for the very first time.

Magnolia Jackson, from Florida, was joined by family and friends to mark the milestone occasion with a trip to 'the most magical place on Earth.'

The centenarian, who is also the oldest living graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, began her newfound love of Disney last fall when she watched her beloved college team play in the the annual Florida Classic football game.

She saw Drum Major Mickey steal the show with an 'electrifying' on-field performance and has been captivated by Disney ever since.

Magnolia was surrounded by loved ones for the celebration at Walt Disney World where the scene was adorned with birthday cake, balloons and decorations.

Footage from the gathering, which was shared by GMA, saw Walt Disney World Ambassadors Serena Arvizu and Shannon Smith-Conrad join the fun.

Serena announced: 'Ms. Magnolia, on behalf of the 80,000 cast members of Walt Disney World in your community here, happy birthday and welcome to the Magic Kingdom.'

And Magnolia cheerfully shared: 'I have a very good feeling towards all the boys and girls.'

Elsewhere, Shannon wrote: 'Lively! Magical! Watching her family come into the area and seeing Mickey and Minnie and all the love and support from our cast members and community, you just felt the love she had in her heart and her excitement to be here.'

The Walt Disney World Ambassadors posted a picture of the birthday girl on Instagram and captioned it: 'Join us in celebrating the remarkable Mrs. Magnolia Jackson as she turns 106!  

'Mrs. Magnolia is the oldest living graduate of Bethune-Cookman University in Florida, and to honor the momentous day, we teamed up with cast across the resort to help throw her a party for the ages.'

She continued: 'We not only helped kick off her birthday, but also her first-ever trip to Walt Disney World.
