A man has come under fire after his wife accused him of infidelity - but he insists his actions were 'innocent' and that his wife is 'being insane and paranoid'.
The 35-year-old recently decided to update his wardrobe and purchased high-end 'silky' and 'sexy' boxers ahead of a business trip to Las Vegas.
He shared that it was an out of character purchase as he usually just wears simple 'well worn' white briefs.
'My wife noticed them in my luggage the night before my flight and she accused me of cheating,' he shared on Reddit.
'I think she's being paranoid, and frankly insane. I told her this directly and slept on the opposite side of the bed from her that night. I don't know what to expect from her when I come home.'

Relationship expert Louanne Ward previously revealed the subtle signs your partner is cheating on you, one of which is a sudden change in wardrobe or personal preferences.
'Watch out for a significant change of personal style, be that fashion, music or any personal tastes,' she said.
'This is sometimes an indication someone else is having an influence.'
A private investigator also noted that new clothes are a sign of infidelity after years in the business of catching cheating spouses.
Many were weary of the Reddit user's behaviour.
'You're acting out of character and then were very rude to your wife. Your behaviour and response make you look suspicious,' a woman noted.
'So why did you decide to change your underwear style, specifically for a business trip?' one asked.
'Yes, I need to know this too,' another responded. 'Who’s going to see them? Why not buy and wear nice underwear for your wife to see?'
But some didn't see the issue with a man changing up his style.
'I wouldn't characterise silky boxers as 'sexy', but to each their own. If you needed new underwear and wanted to try something new, it's not indicative of cheating. Your wife overreacted. At the end of the day, it is just underwear,' a man wrote.
