Barstool CEO Dave Portnoy placed a $600,000 bet on UConn to win the NCAA Tournament and repeat as national champions.
Portnoy placed the bet through DraftKings, with the Huskies having +360 odds to win the tournament.
The first repeat champion since Florida in 2006 and 2007 would earn Portnoy $2.76million.
UConn is the tournament's No 1 overall seed and has been picked by nearly 25 percent of people who filled out a bracket to win the tournament.
The Huskies face No-16 seed Stetson in their first NCAA Tournament game this year on Friday.
UConn was picked as the champion by nearly one-fourth of those who filled out brackets
Portnoy has not been shy about betting lots of money on sports while running Barstool

'I have made a large bet. I really don't think there is anybody who can play with #uconn,' Portnoy said on X. 'Like +360 is not great odds but at the same time great odds. Yes I am worried that everybody is picking them.'
Portnoy has placed a few other March Madness bets, including $25,000 on No-11 seed New Mexico to win the tournament.
The Lobos have +2200 odds to win the NCAA Tournament. The Mountain West Conference Tournament winners becoming national champions would earn Portnoy $575,000.
New Mexico also opens NCAA Tournament play on Friday against No-6 seed Clemson.
For the Lobos to win the NCAA Tournament, they will likely have to win six straight games as underdogs.
