An ultra-exclusive restaurant in Maine has paved the way for reservations again but it can only be booked by sending a postcard.
The Lost Kitchen brings crowds of people from all over the country to the small town of Freedom which has a population of around 700 people.
But those eager to experience the $265-a-head dinner for it's May to October dining season have to submit a postcard to be within a chance of a reservation.
It is accepting submissions and customers are being asked to send a standard four-inch by six-inch postcard to their address.
The restaurant, which is the subject of a popular television series, pulls out cards at random and lucky diners will receive a phone call to book their reservation.

The Lost Kitchen, which is owned by chef and author Erin French , announced details of its postcard reservation system on Tuesday.
It is one of the most sought-after restaurant reservations in the US and receives around 20,000 postcards each season.
The restaurant is asking people not to submit using envelopes or send in more than one as those who try to duplicate submissions will be disqualified.
'Please do not send postcards on behalf of others,' it said in a statement. 'In the rare event that two family/party members receive a reservation call, within the same session, we kindly ask that you decline a second reservation.'
The Lost Kitchen, which welcomes around 50 people each night, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Those lucky enough to be chosen spend over five hours at the remote facility which was previously a historic mill.
'Dinner is so much more than a meal at [The Lost Kitchen],' its website reads.
'It's an evening, an adventure, a moment, and a memory. A night with us lasts over 5 hours, consists of many, many, many courses and not only fills your bellies, but your hearts.
'The mill is yours for the entire night, with an intimate group and the utmost personal attention from Erin and our tightly knit team.

'It is our duty to give you an experience that not only feels magical, but priceless at the same time.
'Our dinners reflects the value of the best ingredients we can find, and our commitment to pay our staff fairly and consciously, the unique experience we work so hard to provide you with.'
French first introduced the postcard system in 2018 after being bombarded with phone calls for reservations.
'It gave everyone the same opportunity and it just took a little bit of effort,' she previously told NEWS CENTER Maine.
'We decided if you didn't have the patience to write your name on a note card and pop it in the mail, you were not going to have the patience for a 4-hour dinner, so it was basically helping anyone out who wouldn't enjoy it.'
Those who aren't selected at first may be given a chance to visit later in the season if other diners cancel.
