In third place, it's black coffee, made using nothing more than coffee grounds and water. It's the preferred choice in 12 countries including Bulgaria, Portugal, Israel, UAE, South Africa and Colombia.

Coffeeness notes that it's 'different from cold brew coffee in that cold brew coffee has a bolder taste and takes longer to make'.
The bottom of the ranking included Cortado (No.1 in Bahrain, equal parts espresso and steamed milk); frappuccino (top in Peru, made with coffee, ice and syrups) and Turkish coffee (top in Turkey, brewed in a copper pot called a cezve using ground coffee and sweetened to taste).
