A bride unleashed her fury on a wedding guest for wearing 'gold' to the ceremony - but thousands have dubbed her 'jealous' and 'insecure' for the unhinged act.
Jennifer* recently attended her best friend Dan's wedding and was yelled at by Lauren, the bride, midway through the reception for wearing an 'inappropriate' gold dress - with the bride's mother going as far as to say it was 'as bad as wearing white'.
'I cannot believe you would wear gold to my wedding, you're not the first prize - you're just f**king trashy,' the bride screamed in Jennifer's face before demanding she leave the venue.
Shocked and confused, Jennifer immediately left with her husband - but she soon explained that Lauren had a long history of disliking her for no good reason.
'Dan and I have been friends since high school, always platonic with no romantic interests, but I've never been allowed to spend time with Dan alone ever since he started dating Lauren three years ago,' she wrote on Reddit.

'Lauren thinks it's suspicious that I want to hang out with him. I miss my friend. Despite me being happily married, she's always kept me at arm's length. I always figured this was because she's from a very conservative family,' she went on.
Dan spoke to his then-girlfriend several times about relaxing, but Lauren always went back to complaining about his female friends.
Jennifer explained that Dan wanted her to be in the groom's party but it made Lauren cry - so Jennifer said she'd just attend as a guest.
The wedding's theme was 'warm tone garden party' - with the invite encouraging earthy colours.
Jennifer came across a bronze satin midi dress from Australian brand Hello Molly - which she considered 'perfect' for the occasion.
But she never expected Lauren to pull her aside and scream at her for her innocent choice.
'Lauren's mum texted saying I ruined the wedding and I'm stupid for wearing a gold dress, which is as bad as wearing white. I was genuinely not aware this was a thing,' she said.
Many said that the bride was 'insane' for acting out at her own wedding.
'I don't think it would have mattered what colour your dress was,' one said. 'The wife hates you and was going to find something to yell at you for whatever you wore. If it wasn't the dress colour, it would have been something else.'
'Reeks of jealousy, and I feel so sorry for your friend. He just signed up for a lifetime with this person,' another added.
But a few slammed Jennifer for her attention-seeking behaviour.
'The dress is very revealing - it does not scream garden party dress. It's very slinky for a wedding,' a man wrote.
'You knew she's insecure about your friendship, doesn't matter how platonic it is. You knew she comes from a conservative background. And then you wore a cut out, low cut, silky satin slip dress. How could you not see that being a problem?' one asked.
