This is the heartbreaking moment police found Ruby Franke's traumatized nine-year-old daughter 'petrified' and refusing to leave a closet for four hours before her mother was sentenced to prison for abusing her own children.
Bodycam footage shows cops searching the home of Franke's business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, in August last year after the YouTuber's 12-year-old son escaped and ran to a neighbor's home to raise the alarm about their treatment living in what prosecutors have described as a 'concentration camp-like setting'.
The nine-year-old, referred to by the initial 'E', is shown later, found during a sweep of the Ivins, Utah home, cowering and cross-legged in a large closet. A police officer asks the girl if she is okay, but gets no response as he tries to coax her out of the wardrobe.
'The officers responded to Ms. Hildebrandt's home, placed her under arrest, and conducted a search of her sizable property where they found Ms. Franke's 9-year-old daughter, petrified and hiding in a closet,' the county attorney's office said in a statement, releasing the shocking footage.
Disgraced blogger Ruby Franke, 42, was sentenced to up to 30 years in prison in February for brutally abusing two of her own children after chronicling their lives on YouTube - leading to a slew of horrifying allegations of abuse from alleged victims of Franke and licensed therapist Hildebrandt.

In the shocking footage, 'E' was seen sitting very still in the closet as officers approached her.
She was found at the home of Jodi Hildebrandt, a licensed therapist who ran an online self-improvement program with Franke, on August 30, 2023.
Franke and Hildebrandt were arrested on child abuse charges after officers from the Santa Clara Public Safety Department responded to the home in Ivins, Utah, after a neighbor called 911 to report Franke's 12-year-old son - referred to as R.F. - raised the alarm.
Police said R.F. had visible wounds and marks from tape around his wrists and ankles when he arrived and asked for food and water.
'E' was found in a 'similar physical condition of malnourishment', according to police.
The children were later taken to hospital and family members said they are stable.
Child protective services took both E and R.F., along with two older siblings, into custody after arriving at Franke's home in Springville, Utah to make the arrest.
Franke and Hildebrandt were both charged with six counts of felony child abuse nearly a week later, before YouTube banned Franke and deleted her channels.
Franke's niece, Jessi, said their aunt had abused them while under her care for about a year more than ten years ago.
'The things that I experienced while living with Jodi — I experienced being tied, I experienced being duct taped, I experienced being blindfolded, I experienced severe isolation, I experienced severe emotional, spiritual and psychological abuse,' they alleged.
Jessi said they were 'isolated for up to 12 hours a day' and were once 'forced to sleep outside in the snow'.
'I've never met Ruby … but the things that she is saying and regurgitating are very, very familiar to me,' they added.

Attorneys representing Franke have blamed Hildebrandt for taking 'advantage', claiming 'initially, Ms Franke believed that Jodi Hildebrant had the insight to offer a path to continual improvement'.
'Hildebrant took advantage of this quest and twisted it into something heinous,' Franke's attorneys' statement to Fox 13 reportedly said.
Attorneys said Hildebrandt 'systematically isolated Ruby Franke from her extended family, older children, and her husband, Kevin Franke'.
They claim this resulted in Franke being 'subjected to a distorted sense of morality, shaped by Ms Hildebrandt's influence'.
Franke later pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse.
After reaching the neighbor's house in August last year, R.F. accused 'Jodi' of tying him up and using cayenne pepper as well as using honey to treat the wounds caused by the tape.
It came three years after people who viewed Franke's content on YouTube began a petition to have her investigated by Child Protective Services.
In 2022, police were also called to the Franke's home after a neighbor alleged she had left her children unsupervised for four days.
An officer said that the children refused to answer the door when he knocked.
The YouTuber's eldest daughter, Shari Franke, also made contact with the police around this time.
Franke first launched her infamous YouTube channel in 2015, alongside her husband Kevin Franke.
It demonstrated the couple's parenting techniques with the backdrop being the family's Mormon faith.
She quickly racked up more than two million subscribers by chronicling their lives in Utah with their six children.
However, the channel vanished from the internet in January 2023, after years of people calling out Franke's style of disciplining her kids.
One particularly controversial incident was when one of Franke's sons said that he was sleeping on a beanbag in a hallway after being kicked out of his room for making fun of his other sibling.
In an interview with Business Insider, Franke said sleeping on the bean bag had been his choice.
Perhaps the most famous incident saw Franke punish her daughter, 6, for forgetting her school lunch at home and refusing to bring it to her.
A common theme on the channel saw the mother allow children personal freedom and would regularly throw away their belongings.

Chief Deputy Washington County Attorney Ryan Shaum said in a written statement on Tuesday that Franke and Hildebrandt's actions amounted to 'some of the worst child abuse' he had seen in nearly 30 years of prosecuting.
'For over three months, the two children, ages 9 and 11-12, were held by their mother and her business partner in a concentration-camp setting.
'They were regularly denied food, water, beds to sleep in, and virtually all forms of entertainment. They were also prohibited from interacting with others and were hidden in the home when people came to visit'.
He added that the children were forced to do manual labor outdoors in the extreme summer heat without shoes or socks.
