Iowa alum and San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle and his wife Claire met Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark on Monday night.
Kittle and Claire, who both attended the University of Iowa, watched on as their alma mater downed West Virginia in the second round of March Madness.
Clark and the Hawkeyes beat the Mountaineers 64-54 to seal their place in the Sweet 16 against Colorado on Saturday.
Clark set the NCAA women's single-season point scoring record as she now sits with 1,113 points - passing former Washington Huskies guard Kelsey Plum.
And after her record-breaking performance the guard took the time to meet the 49ers tight end and his wife.

The NFL's official X account shared a photo of the trio in what appears to be a physiotherapy room at the arena.
Clark is still in her Iowa uniform with her hair scraped back into a ponytail, while Kittle is also repping school colors, wearing a yellow Hawkeyes jersey - with his wife's former No. 3 on the back - over a long-sleeved grey top.
Claire, who played basketball for Iowa during her college days, looks chic and casual in a pair of black cargo trousers and a fitted, long-sleeved t-shirt.
The 22-year-old Clark still has a year of eligibility remaining thanks to the Covid year that all NCAA athletes received but declared for the draft earlier this month.
Her decision to transition to the WNBA comes after she surpassed Pete Maravich to become the NCAA's all-time leading scorer.
Clark is the consensus No. 1 overall pick - with the Indiana Fever already showing signs that they will take her with the top selection.
The couple met in their freshman year at the University of Iowa and began dating that year

Iowa is a special place for Kittle and Claire after the couple met at the college and started dating in their freshman year.
Claire is a former member of the Iowa women's basketball team herself, having played for the Hawkeyes for all four years, averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.
She also played basketball throughout her time at Wahlert Catholic High School, becoming the school's third all-time leading scorer and a McDonald's All-American nominee
The couple eloped after getting engaged in 2018 and now live in Nashville, Tennessee, during the NFL offseason.
