Jason Kelce joked on social media that his 'elbow doesn't work' a few days ahead of when he and fellow Philadelphia Eagles legend Fletcher Cox are scheduled to throw out the first pitch at a Phillies game on Saturday.

Cox and Kelce both retired from the NFL this offseason after spending their entire professional careers with the Eagles.

Kelce and Cox were also both part of a larger group of Philadelphia players to attend Game 6 of the National League Championship Series between the Phillies and Diamondbacks last October at Citizens Bank Park.

The first pitch at Saturday's game against the Atlanta Braves was announced on the 'New Heights' podcast earlier today, which is hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce.

It is unclear whether Kelce will pitch the ball normally or try and hike it like a center.

'Yes Saturday, not the home opener, and to be clear @fcoxx_91 is gonna have to throw it because my elbow doesn’t work,' Kelce said on X.

Kelce and Cox played together on the Eagles for 11 seasons, as Cox joined the team in 2012, and Kelce came to Philadelphia a year prior.

The most common thing Kelce has been seen doing with his arm in public has been drinking beers and showed no signs on injury when taking cans of Bud Light to the face.

Kelce opted to play hockey and lacrosse at Cleveland Heights High School, and never suited up for the school's baseball team.

Yet, his form from the mound will be heavily judged on Saturday.
