A US gambling company is looking for a baseball fan to travel around the country to measure hot dogs at all 30 MLB stadiums for a total of $2,500, according to reports.

PIX11 revealed that BetUS wants to pay a New York baseball fan, who's also a hot dog connoisseur, that much money to take out a tape measurer and assess the wieners with no mentions of eating them whatsoever in its job application for the gig.

The lucky hire will also receive a $500 gift card at the MLB gift shop and a yearlong subscription to MLB.TV.

Travel expenses are also taken care of by the betting firm.

The job's description says that 'for this official ''Wiener Connoisseur'' position, we are looking for someone who considers themselves a passionate hot dog connoisseur, has a strong opinion when it comes to grilled vs boiled dogs, is well-versed in the world of wieners and smiles at the idea of a literal sausage fest.'

The hot dog connoisseur will surely have to step up his game when he or she goes down South to watch the Texas Rangers play, as the reigning World Series champs' plan to sell a two-foot long hotdog at their home base, according to JustLuxe.com.

Named 'The BoomStick,' the 24-inch wiener will be sold for $26 at Globe Life Field, starting on Thursday, when the Rangers host the Chicago Cubs on MLB Opening Day.

However, despite its gigantic size, 'The BoomStick' isn't necessarily the best tasting hot dog of all 30 MLB stadiums.

According to hot-dog.org, Chicago's Wrigley Field and Yankee Stadium are tied for home of the best stadium hot dog.

'Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays, was the only MLB stadium to not receive a single vote,' the report further said.
