A debate has erupted around a meme that prompts viewers to consider how they would continue polishing off a sandwich.
Viewers are offered three choices - A, B or C - as to where to bite next, which has sparked a controversial debate.
The graphic appears to have originated on Reddit and eventually made its way to TikTok.
The meme showcases a partially eaten sandwich, with the question, 'You're eating a bomb sandwich, which piece are you biting next?'
A viral meme centered on a partially eaten sandwich prompted onlookers to choose between three options as to where their next bite would be
TikTok influencer Soogia chimed in with her opinion on how to approach the sandwich - testing it out by eating her own sandwich
TikTok content creator Adam Best gave his take: 'We can all agree that A is the wrong answer. No sane human being comes across this sandwich scenario and goes in for the A... that's the wrong answer,' he insisted.
Between B and C, he declared, 'Objectively, the correct answer is C. Because with C, you're not taking the center; you're rounding out the sandwich. You're distributing the toppings to bites evenly throughout the sandwich.'
Choosing B, he added, could result in getting sauce on your face.
A second TikTok creator, who goes by The Golden Balance, offered different points, but came to the same conclusion.
'If you choose A, you are a psychopath,' he claimed.
'If you choose A, you are crazy, you do not know how to consume food. There's zero reasoning for A.
'Now you got B and C.
'If you're choosing B, and B's the only right answer, you don't even think of the future! But that's a juicy bite, so I get it.
'If you take C, you do a little bit of the groundwork, the early work, the work that you don't want to usually do - because you can already tell there's not much filling there.
'You take the bite of C, and then B, and the new C, is the right answer, that's the answer, C's the right answer.
'If you choose B you're impatient; if you choose A, you're crazy.'
A third TikTok influencer, Soogia, chimed in with her opinion on how to approach the sandwich - this time, testing it out by eating her own sandwich.
'We're all together on this, right? The next bite on this sandwich is C?' she said.
Then after chomping down on an actual sandwich in her hand she announced, 'Yep, I still choose C.'
Soogia went on to speculate that the debate was about more than the sandwich - rather, the choice could be a reflection of people's values and priorities.
Across TikTok, commenters offered totally different takes on the situation, sparking quite the conversation
'Immediate gratification versus delayed gratification,' she explained.
'People who choose C, like me, were very much like, "I'm gonna get this part out of the way first - I'm gonna do the hard work and the heavy lifting, so that I can get to the prize at the end,"' she mused.
'Or, "I wanna work towards my goal," that kind of rationale.
'And then there are people who chose B who are like, "I wanna seize the opportunity when I have it. You never know when it could get taken away from you."'
'But I still stand by what I said: You gotta save the best for last,' she concluded.
The viral-meme account @foodporn also reshared Adam Best's video, garnering more than 11,000 commenters weighing in on the pressing decision.
'The fact the person got into this situation in the first place lets me know they don't know what they are doing,' one judged.
'There is ONE bite left on that sandwich, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't have brothers,' another person insisted.
One diabolically minded commenter suggested: 'If it's not your sandwich it's b. if it's yours then c.'
