Despite being at her husband's side as recently as last week, Melania Trump reportedly has no plans to join her husband on the campaign trail this time around.
Former First Lady Melania, 53, has often been absent from public life of late due to the death of her mother at the start of the year.
She was standing behind her husband as he accepted his awards and gave a brief speech about the joy he felt in playing at his West Palm Beach golf club Sunday night.
However, a source close to the campaign told CNN that it's not clear she'll be heading to any of her husband's rallies, with multiple sources saying she's not going to be 'having a ramped-up role anytime soon.'
'She'll definitely have a role, but in terms of what that is, I don't know,' the source said. 'It is her decision on how much or how little she will be campaigning.'

It isn't even clear yet if Melania will have any public role at August's Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, though it is assumed she will participate.
However, they note that the former FLOTUS is thoughtful and could change her mind going forward.
'She is very selective and methodical in what she wants to do and how she presents herself,' another source said.
'She is very decisive with these things and knows they have a lot of intended and unintended consequences.'
Melania has only appeared twice at public events since her husband announced his third consecutive run at the White House.
She was at his side at the Mar-a-Lago kickoff to his campaign in November 2022 and showed up with Donald to cast her ballot in the Florida primaries, which he won handily.
When asked when she'd be back on the trail, she could only smile and say: 'Stay tuned.'
According to Stephanie Grisham, Melania's former chief of staff, she prefers her style to that of current First Lady Jill Biden, who she sees as almost keeping President Joe Biden upright.

In an interview with Megyn Kelly late last year, former President Trump described her wife as mysterious in response to questions regarding her whereabouts.
'I think part of the beauty is that mystery,' Trump said when asked what people misunderstand about his wife of more than 20 years, before comparing her with Hollywood legend Greta Garbo.
'She was a great actress, But she was very reclusive, never did an interview. I don't see Melania as like that, but she's introspective, and she's confident… She doesn't need to be out there [to get interviewed],' he explained.
'She has confidence. She has a lot of self-confidence.'
Trump said at the time that Melania is doing very well, describing the former model as a 'very strong, even keeled, good woman.'
'She's a very calm person, I think that's what people like about her,' Trump told Kelly.
