Foodies with an air fryer will know that one of the only downsides to the efficient and useful cooking device is having to take the time to clean it.
It can often involve some serious elbow grease and effort to get the remains of your food all cleaned off the inside.
However, a cleaning expert has revealed her solution that takes little effort and means you don't have to do any scrubbing at all.
Claire Jenkins, 51, from Kirkintillochis in Scotland, is one half of the TikTok cleaning duo the Wee Scotty Cleaners, alongside Hazel McKinnie, 45.
The pair regularly post cleaning tips, tricks, and advice under their handle @theweescottycleaners to their 92,000 followers.
A cleaning expert has revealed her air fryer cleaning hack that takes little effort and means you don't have to do any scrubbing at all
In this video, Claire filmed a step-by-step tutorial of how she got her air fryer looking squeaky clean after using it to cook some bacon.
She told viewers: 'I'm going to show you the easiest way to clean your air fryer. So I've just cooked bacon in mine and I'm not going to let it dry in.
'So before I sit down and have my piece of bacon, I'm going to soak this - this is the easiest way - soak this in hot water.'
The cleaning pro demonstrated taking the removable compartment from her air fryer, which was covered in oil, to the sink and filling it up with hot water from the tap.
Claire explained: 'Let's just turn that hot water on and this way there will be no scrubbing involved because it's still hot and it's still wet, so you're not giving it time to dry in okay.
'So we're going to leave that like that and we're going to be using one of these and I'm going to come back to you once I've eaten.'
She held up a Dishmatic sponge on a stick, where the inside of the handle can be filled with washing-up liquid.
After returning from eating her food, she emptied all of the dirty water out out of the compartment, after it had been left to soak.

Impressed, she said: 'Now look how easy this is going to come off. This [sponge] has got washing up liquid in it and it's going to take no scrubbing at all.
'Normally if you had let that dry in, that bacon residue and juices would have all stuck on that.'
She concluded by showing off her spotless results: 'So you can see how easy that is to clean right - again, the bucket. Nothing has stuck to it at all.
'Look how easy that was. See if I had sat down and left that all to dry in, I would have probably had to get out a Brillo pad, but look at that - this was just this magic toy. Done and all ready to go back.'
Although the hack appeared to have great results on the video, a few commenters were concerned about the 'grease water' going down the plughole.
One user penned: 'Watch you don’t block the drains with that grease water,' with a second adding: 'Grease down the plug hole,' alongside a shocked emoji.
Meanwhile, a third insisted: 'Just get a bloody air fryer liner. It keeps it safe and looking great for longer.'
The clip comes just after Hazel, the other half of the cleaning duo, shared a cleaning tip to help remove deep stains from duvets - and it will only set you back £1.50.
The footage, which has since amassed over 11,000 views and 18 comments from delighted fans, contains the caption: '2 in 1 duvet stains and cleans your washing machine.'
