While the royals were out in force today in Windsor, Earl Spencer showed off a more low-key Easter celebration from the childhood home of Princess Diana.
The late Princess of Wales' sister Charles Spencer, 59, took to Instagram this morning to post a video of his child completing a traditional egg hunt - but on horseback - around the sprawling Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire.
His 11-year-old daughter, Lady Charlotte Diana Spencer - named after her aunt was wrapped up warm in a black puffer coat and her pyjamas for the early morning celebration - although it was so foggy, there was no sign of spring in the air.
The youngster wore black knee-high riding boots and a riding helmet as she galloped around the 13,000 acre estate collecting the foil-wrapped eggs on a white horse.

He wrote: 'Easter egg hunt, Althorp style... And yes, my daughter is in her pyjamas. happy Easter to you all!'
Although the Earl did not specify which of his five daughters featured in the video, it appears to be his youngest child.
On 18 June 2011 at Althorp, the Earl married Canadian philanthropist Karen Gordon and the pair had Lady Charlotte Diana, named as a touching nod to her aunt.
She rode her horse around the house, standing up and clutching onto the bridle as she reached up to get her chocolate eggs from the garden.
'I'm glad I didn't go bareback,' she exclaims, as she put the colourful foiled eggs into her bag.
Spencer recently opened up about 'fun' school runs with his daughter on psychotherapist Julia Samuel's podcast Therapy Works to promote his new book A Very Private School.
He explained: 'I have an 11-year-old, I have many children, and my youngest one I do the school run with her in the morning and it's a hoot, she's really funny and fun.'
She expressed that she was glad she did not ride bareback and decided to opt for a saddle

Earl Spencer went on to explain how he regularly asks Charlotte about her school.
Charles added: 'She's quite bored of me asking, "Are there any strange teachers at school?"
'She sort of rolls her eyes and says, "For goodness' sake, we've been through this," but I will always be on guard."
Princess Diana's brother has six other children - Lady Kitty Eleanor Spencer, 33, Lady Eliza Victoria Spencer, 31, Lady Amelia Spencer, 31, Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, 30, The Honourable Edmund Spencer, 20, and Lady Lara Caroline Spencer, 18.
