A series of influencer moms have sparked a furious debate online after they showed off their kids' wildly extravagant Easter baskets - forking out hundreds of dollars on everything from makeup and beauty products to Stanley Cups and luxury clothing.

A bunch of social media stars caused quite an uproar on TikTok over the weekend, after they posted videos detailing the immense gifts that they got their children for the holiday.

A slew of videos that showed them preparing their kids' Easter baskets with extravagant presents and pricey designer goods took over the video streaming platform - and the clips left many people on the web wondering how the Easter Bunny had gone from leaving some 'plastic eggs filled with chocolate' to an array of luxury presents.

Arguably the most glamorous was fashion blogger and YouTube star Brittany Xavier's.

The 37-year-old mom spent a whopping $569 on gifts for her daughter, Jadyn, 17, for Easter.

Her basket was filled with expensive items like a $48 Nest candle, C & The Moon's $64 Malibu Made Body Scrub, and illuminating self-tan drops from Tan-Luxe, which costs $50.

'She loves self tanner and this one seems cool,' gushed Brittany of the latter.

Also in the basket was Make's lash and brow serum, which is priced at $35, a $46 tube of Flamingo Estate's body wash, and Tacha's $22 Luminous Dewy Skin Mist.

Brittany explained of the skin mist, 'I love this spray and I thought maybe she should try it out. It's good for refreshing your skin if you need a little moisturizing throughout the day.'

Last but not least, she threw in a set of Summer Fridays Jet Lag Masks, which cost $49, Lancome's Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss in light pink, which is $25, a $68 Clementine Organic Silk Sleep Mask, Pixi's $16 eye patches, Miss Swiss makeup sponges for $7, and a pink bikini from the brand Swim By Di that costs $115.

Content creator Miranda Harness, 32, revealed that her basket for her teen daughter Cally had two new Stanley cups, a notepad, tons of skincare products, lots of new clothes - including a few pairs of Lululemon workout shorts - sandals, multiple blankets, and a bunch of eggs filled with $20 bills.

Her video was flooded with similar comments of disbelief.

'What happened to bubbles, candy, and chalk?' one outraged viewer asked in the comment section.

'That's more than I get for Christmas, my birthday, and every other holiday combined,' said another.

Someone else quipped, 'This Easter basket is legit more than my rent.'

Another TikTok famous mom, named Danielle, got nearly two million views on a video she posted about the Easter basket that she created for her daughter, Aubree.

It was filled with a $38 Lululemon belt bag and 'of course' the matching wallet, a Stanley cup, a slew of makeup products, a headband, jewelry, and a $25 Roblox gift card.

'When did Easter turn into Christmas?' replied one of her viewers in the comment section.

'Where are the toys?' wondered another, while a third comment read, 'My next five birthdays, Christmases, Halloweens, and Easters right there.'

Despite the backlash many of the moms are receiving, some people on the web did have their backs and flooded the videos with positive messages that said things like, 'Adopt me?' and, 'This is so thoughtful.'

Another mom, named Kim Pauckner, uploaded a video showing off the over-the-top baskets that she had made for her 15-year-old son, 20-year-old daughter, and her daughter's boyfriend.
