Chance Perdomo's Gen V costars paid tribute to the late actor in an emotional statement, in which they remembered his extraordinary life and legacy. 

The cast, including, Maddie Phillips, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Lizze Broadway, Sean Patrick Thomas shared the following message on their social media accounts, days after the star's fatal bike crash at age 27, which reportedly occurred late Friday night.

'Our hearts are with Chance’s loved ones as we grieve this shocking loss. We will remember the special moments we had together, his infectious smile that could light up any room, his warm hugs and the authenticity he carried with him always,' they began. 

His former colleagues concluded: 'Rest in peace dear friend, you will be deeply missed. Love, The Gen V Cast.' 

The British-American actor, known for his roles as Andre Anderson in Gen V and Ambrose Spellman in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, was killed in a single vehicle smash, according to officials.

Over the weekend, the Gen V producers released a moving statement following the news, penning: 'We can't quite wrap out heads around this. 

'For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. 

'Even writing about him in the past doesn't make sense. We are so sorry for Chance's family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.'

In the wake of his death, production for the second season of Gen V has been officially delayed.

The cast and producers were scheduled to gather on Saturday afternoon for the shows' first Season 2 table read, in preparation for filming commencing on April 8 in Toronto, according to Deadline.

The series' creators are now tasked with deciding to revise the scripts to bid farewell to Chance's character or seek a replacement actor for the role, per the outlet.

Since news of his death, tributes flooded in for Perdomo including from his co-stars in the Amazon Prime superhero series, Patrick Schwarzenegger, who led the tributes to the star.

The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, 30, plays Luke Riordan/Golden Boy in The Boys' spin-off, tweeted: 'This hurts. A lot. What a young talented actor, and a great friend - gone way too soon. Was a pleasure to work with him in GenV. RIP Chance ❤️❤️❤️'

Responding to one of his followers sharing a shot from the show of Patrick and Chance's characters hugging, Patrick admitted: 'Damn that just made me tear up.'

In the spin-off to The Boys, Chance played Andre, who had magnetic manipulation super powers, alongside stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann and Shelley Conn. 

Dan Beirne, who plays Social Media Jeff, the social media manager for Godolkin University on the series, also paid tribute.

He shared a photo of Chance to his Instagram Stories and captioned it: 'I spent probably five days with him but it was enough to know he was so funny and talented and generous and joyful. His smile lit up a room.'

While Robert Bazzocchi, who stars as one of Andre's classmates at Godolkin, Liam, reflected on his first meeting with Chance at the table read for Gen V's pilot.

Commenting on Prime Video's statement on Instagram, he wrote: 'Wow. The first thing I said to him at the pilot table read was that he was one of my favourite actors on 'Sabrina.' 

'He’s a standout. So much talent and a warm soul. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, may he rest in peace.'

While Amazon MGM and Sony Productions Television wrote: 'The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. [We] extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance's family and all who loved him at this difficult time.'

The statements were shared and reposted by several of The Boys' stars, including Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Karen Fukuhara and Jack Quaid.

While the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina showrunner, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, also penned a heartfelt tribute, calling Chance a 'soulful human being' and admitting his passing was 'heartbreaking and staggering'.

Chance first appeared in the short film Longfield Drive as Rodell in 2016 and went on to star in TV shows such as Midsomer Murders and Sabrina.
