Aaron Rodgers earned 81 DOLLARS through the NFL's performance-based pay system after playing in four New York Jets offensive snaps this season

By playing four snaps this season with the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers earned an NFL-low $81.14 through the league's performance-based system.

The pay system gives incentives based on amount of time played and base salary. Rodgers salary was $37.5million last season, but only participated in 0.33% of Jets snaps last season.

That gives Rodgers the total, quite the opposite from a low-earning player who was on the field for many of his team's snaps.

On the fourth play of his Jets career, Rodgers tore his Achilles and did not play the rest of the season.

The hype train surrounding Rodgers quickly derailed as any playoff success for New York went away as soon as the 40-year-old did.

There was plenty of hype surrounding Rodgers' debut with the Jets, and it did not last long

Rodgers flirted with a comeback from his torn Achilles, wanting to heavily buck the trend of a six-to-nine month recovery, but did not return to the field.

The controversial quarterback stayed in the headlines while injured through his outlandish appearances shouting conspiracy theories on 'The Pat McAfee Show'.

Rodgers was also recently considered to be the vice-presidential pick for third-party, conspiracy-theorist candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., before being passed on.

Opposite of Rodgers is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who had a base salary of $870,000 in 2023.

Purdy, by helping the 49ers get to the Super Bowl and rarely missing action, nearly doubled his base salary by adding $739,795 through the pay system.
