Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice has admitted to being involved in the car crash that caused multiple injuries in Dallas on Saturday, according to reports.
TMZ Sports claims that Rice, who police suspected raced his Corvette with a Lamborghini before causing an accident and fleeing the scene, admitted his role in the crash to the company that owns the Lambo.
The 23-year-old is understood to have leased the luxury car from a company called Classic Lifestyle. The rental agency alleges that his lease agreement states he is the only person allowed to drive the vehicle.
Kyle Coker, the attorney representing The Classic Lifestyle, says that Rice was in the Lamborghini at the time of the crash, despite police suspecting that he was behind the wheel of the Corvette.
Shortly after the incident, he is believed to have fired off a text confirming his involvement in it and promising to pay for the Lambo, which was totaled. The report claims one of his friends was driving the Corvette.

Shocking dashcam footage of the car accident on Saturday, which involved Rice's Corvette
But the WR is also said to have leased the Lamborghini that his Corvette is suspected of racing
Rice has been a customer of Classic Lifestyle since his student days at SMU and was renting the 2021 matte black life Lambo for $1,749 a day.
Dashcam footage from the incident shows a Lamborghini and Corvette going at high speed and colliding with a grey car on the North Central Expressway, pulling the cars across the road. It has been claimed that the two vehicles were racing.
Five men from the Corvette and Lamborghini then appeared to walk away from the scene on the shoulder of the highway. Rice, who helped the Chiefs win a second straight Super Bowl in February, was wanted by cops because the Corvette is either registered or leased to him.
A woman involved in the collision - identified as 27-year-old Kayla Quinn - said the accident put her four-year-old son in danger and the men speeding walked away from the crash site without sympathy.
'No one stopped,' Quinn said to the DMN. 'We had children, like, we had kids, you know what I’m saying?
'It’s the fact that there was no sympathy shown to where y’all can even have the decency to stop and check to make sure someone’s OK, someone’s alive, you know?
'I’m just blessed that I was able to walk out of there because it could have been so much worse.'
Dallas News also quoted a witness saying they saw one of the men take 'guns and bags from the vehicles' before leaving the scene.
Rice's attorney says he is cooperating with authorities after the Dallas crash over the weekend
The incident is believed to have happened at 6:20pm local time. The Lamborghini is thought to have crashed into the median wall and caused 'a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles', before the two drivers ran from the scene.
Police were searching for Rice in Dallas, Texas before the football player's attorney revealed on Monday that their client was cooperating with the authorities.
His attorney Royce West said: 'On behalf of Rashee Rice, his thoughts are with everyone impacted by the automobile accident on Saturday.
'Rashee is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly.'
