Rebel Wilson has named the actor who she lost her virginity to at the age of 35 - while sharing some very intimate details about their first night together.

The Australian actress, now 44, opened up about her very first sexual encounter in her newly-released memoir, Rebel Rising, in a chapter titled Late Bloomer, which saw her go into detail about several of her ex partners.

While doing so, Rebel revealed actor and comedian Mickey Gooch Jr., now 38, was her first-ever sexual partner - admitting that he had no idea it was her first time.

Revealing that she was 'almost at my highest weight' at the time, she explained that one of the reasons she waited so long to have sex because she felt that 'as a big girl, no one would ever truly find me sexually attractive.'

Gushing about their intense chemistry, Rebel also penned a brief personal message to Mickey - who is the son of multimillionaire banker Michael Gooch, founder of the $700million GFI Group - revealing that he may have learned the truth about their intimate moment in the pages of her book.

'And, Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes I lost my virginity to you,' she writes in the memoir.

The Pitch Perfect actress said that she 'high-fived myself' after losing her virginity to Mickey in a room at the Greenwich Hotel in New York while she was filming the 2016 movie How To Be Single - a film in which aspiring actor Mickey also landed a small role.

Rebel explained how she was motivated to have sex after learning her mother had breast cancer, writing: '...life IS short. I didn't want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love. I put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it.

'I was going to slut it up with the next guy that came along - who also seemed like a suitable marriage candidate.'

Upon her return to Los Angeles after she spent some time with her mother at home in Australia, Rebel explained that she met Mickey when her Pitch Perfect co-star Hana Mae Lee set them up.

Rebel gushed that she was immediately smitten with the 'chiseled' and 'sexy' actor, writing 'first I love the name because of loving Mickey Mouse and all things perfect.'

Other ways in which he 'ticked' boxes for her included the fact that he owned a mansion with a pool overlooking the ocean and he barbequed for her on their first date.

Rebel writes that Mickey 'pursued me' and had enough money that he could chase her around the world as her movie career soared.

However, it wasn't until she was living in New York after a month of dating that she felt ready to sleep with him, inviting him to fly out and stay with her in a plush hotel room.

Writing candidly about their first night together Rebel revealed that she watched porn movies the night before and used a vibrator 'in preparation'.

She later added that once they had had sex she wanted to be with Mickey 'all the time,' quipping: 'I'm a late starter and now I want to be MVP.'

'I'd imagine having sex and being intimate and everything would always be in my head,' she continued. 'Now I'm someone who lives much more in my body. And I'm loving it. Now I actually have a boyfriend and he's handsome and rich to boot.'

Rebel and Mickey ended up dating for six months but the relationship fizzled out during a holiday with Rebel's family.

She writes that she innocently offered Mickey, who had told her he's had previous stints in rehab, a sleeping tablet for the flight to Dubai.

But the actress says Mickey's behavior began to change as the couple travelled onto Ibiza with Rebel writing: 'If I were more adept at dealing with addicts, I'd pick up on the fact that he's relapsed at some point on that trip.'

Mickey later confessed to Rebel that he had been in rehab 17 times, with the actress vowing to support him with his latest attempt to get sober.

Revealing that she waited a year to see if he could get clean so they could rekindle their relationship, the actress admitted in her capacity as a role model to young people she knew she couldn't date someone who was an addict.

However, the pair have remained friends with Mickey sharing a throwback photo of the pair in 2021 and calling her 'the most beautiful girl I know!… Inside and out.'

The actress has since revealed she chose to open up about her sexual history in her new book in the hopes that it will help young people because 'not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager.'

She divulged that detail in the hopes that it will help young people because 'not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager.'

'People can wait till they're ready or wait till they're a bit more mature,' the Pitch Perfect star told People.

'And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don't have to wait until you're in your thirties like me, but you shouldn't feel pressure as a young person,' Rebel added.

In the past, she even lied about having had sex just to not have to talk about it.

'There was one vague time, I think I told my best friend, "Oh, yeah, I just did it to just get it over with when I was like 23,"' Wilson revealed.

'Just to really avoid the questions,' she explained. 'Normally I would just leave the room when the conversation was happening.

'And then the people that said, "Oh, at 24, it's so late." And then I'm sitting here thinking, "Oh my God, my number's 35. What the hell? I'm going to look like the biggest loser,"' she admitted.

Rebel thinks the era she was born in had a lot to do with her being, in her own words, 'a late bloomer.'

She explained that she thinks if she was born 20 years later, she would have felt more open to exploring her sexuality at a younger age.

'It's absolutely incredible, if I had been born 20 years later, I probably would've explored my sexuality more. I just knew I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing,' the Senior Year actress said.

'And so when I started opening myself up probably more after my father's death and realizing, oh, even though I'd seen marriage as a terrible thing and waste of time, I started opening myself up to that,' she said.

'And then only years later, meeting women and having feelings for a woman, and that, I just think it's a sign of where society kind of was.'

She recently revealed that a situationship with a female tennis player opened her up to love for the first time.

The actress's memoir release has sparked a slew of controversy in recent days after she made some rather shocking allegations about her former The Brothers Grimsby co-star Sacha Baron Cohen in the tome.

In a passage from Rebel Rising that was obtained by People Magazine prior to the book's publication, she shockingly alleged that Sacha requested she 'stick her finger up his a**' because he thought it would make a funny scene in the film and claimed 'it felt like [he] had sexually harassed me'.

Rebel also claimed the alleged inappropriate experience with the Borat actor led to an eating disorder as she detailed the 'disrespect' she felt.

The Pitch Perfect star recalled how she felt 'completed disrespected, which led to me treating myself with even more disrespect by eating in an extremely unhealthy way'.

Sacha has strenuously denied Rebel's claims as 'demonstrably false.'

Additionally, a series of never-before-seen clip from the movie, which were obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, seem to show that the 'stick her finger up his butt' comment was actually part of the script - and that the actress was on-board with the scene from the start.

While Rebel insists that Sacha made the crude request while his 'male friends' stood around laughing and filming the moment on an iPhone, the unseen clips from the scripted scene, which was read and approved by the actress before filming, appear to show a different side of the story.

In one pivotal intimate scene, Rebel's character Dawn slaps the butt of Sacha's character Nobby's and then attempts to put her finger between his cheeks. He rejects her advances, saying, 'Not my bumhole, Dawny. After that curry last night it's like a loaded gun.'

Still on camera but out of her character, Rebel can then be heard discussing the blocking, telling Sacha, 'I'll do a slap [of your butt] and I'll do a – going down the crack', to which he replies, 'It's almost as if you're going to ram your fingers inside.'

She answers, 'Yeah.'

However Rebel was not the only member of the cast to come forward with a less-than-savory experience on the movie set, with the actress's body double telling DailyMail.com exclusively that she was also faced with a very lewd request during filming.

Burlesque dancer Jodi Le Roux, 42, told DailyMail.com that she was shocked when asked to sit on a female extra's face for a crude scene that ended up being cut from the movie.

She says she was told to straddle the woman wearing nothing but underwear and a British flag and she responded, 'You want me to do what?'

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, she also claims she was asked to streak in front of other extras without a modesty cover to shield her privates.

Although Rebel's book was released as planned in the US this week, its publication in her home country of Australia has been delayed indefinitely in the wake of the Sacha controversy.

Australian buyers attempting to get the book on Amazon were notified that the title was 'currently unavailable' and that 'we don't know when or if this item will be back in stock'.

The book's publisher, Harper Collins Australia, told Yahoo Lifestyle that, 'Publication of Rebel Rising has been delayed but we have no further comment.'
