Kyle MacLachlan looked worlds away from his Sex and the City character Trey MacDougal during a TV appearance on Thursday.
The actor, 65, portrayed Charlotte York's first husband on the HBO series between 2000 and 2002, with the character leaving a lasting memory on fans thanks to his intense mummy issues.
Showing off his full head of grey hair, Kyle looked very different from the charming dark haired, cardiologist he played on the series.
Speaking on This Morning, he admitted Trey and his mother Bunny should have had their own 'spin-off' show.
Unfortunately, Frances Hussey Sternhagen - who played Bunny - passed away in November, the actor revealed he would be keen to explore the character's life without his beloved mother.

He told hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond: 'Oh Trey could come back for sure. I loved my time on that show.
'I always felt that trey and bunny could have their own show. An apartment on the Upper East Side.'
It comes after Kyle revealed he would be keen to revisit his iconic character Trey and shared his idea for a potential cameo on the spin-off series, And Just Like That.
Following the sad death of costar Frances, the actor revealed he would be keen to explore the character's life without his beloved mother.
Opening up about what could happen if Charlotte, played by Kristin Davis, was to bump into Trey in a future episode of AJLT, Kyle told DailyMail.com: 'I would like to see some kind of growth of character. People change, obviously.
'It's a toss up, I think for the writers, because I think that the tendency is to try to find something funny, that would be completely inappropriate, and go down that road.'
Referencing a scene in which Charlotte caught Trey pleasuring himself in the bathroom, he continued: 'On one hand, remember that he was a fan of Juggs magazine. So I thought maybe he's married a woman that is 30 years younger, who has very large breasts, and this is now his thing. So maybe he really hasn't changed after all.
'But I'd like to think that there was some dynamic, or a world in which they could meet, and there could be something substantial there between the two of them, that would be nice to see.'

And Just Like That premiered in 2021 and saw Cynthia Nixon return as Miranda, Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York-Goldenblatt (pictured L-R)
Despite his short stint on the show, his character became a fan favorite thanks to outlandish scenes highlighting his mommy issues, his impotence and his complete disregard for Charlotte's fertility struggles.
Season four saw Trey bring home a cardboard baby for Charlotte as a joke, a scene that fans still bring up to the actor to this day.
'Some fans are like, "I can't believe that you thought a cardboard baby would work,"' the actor recalled. 'And I was like, "Listen, I'm right there with you."'
Kyle, who founded Pursued by Bear wines, continued: 'When I read that in the script I actually went to the writers and said, "Is this just supposed to be funny?" I should have known that was the beginning of the end for Trey.'
At first, Kyle had found the role 'challenging' because he had an 'unrealistic expectation' of what the character 'would be.'

The actor believes that it could be interesting to explore what the character is like without his beloved mother, who was played by the late Frances Hussey Sternhagen (pictured)
Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker starred in Sex and The City from 1998 to 2004
The Twin Peaks star recalled: 'I was like, "Once again, I'm playing an unusual character with strange conditions. I think I just have to accept my fate."'
Though his character's issues were often covered in a comical manner, Kyle admitted that the fact the show touched on topics such as impotence was much appreciated by fans.
'When we were working on it, it certainly was a little embarrassing,' the actor recalled. 'We didn't have social media at the level that we have today, but I would get responses from people saying these issues are actually serious... People would say "thank you for bringing this up". It's something worth talking about.'
He continued: 'It seems like there's really nothing that we can't talk about these days, any issues at all. Everyone is much more aware and in tune that people have things that aren't exactly right and it's okay to talk about them.
'So I think maybe, in a way, it was a little ahead of its time.'
