A NASA engineer, who's worked for the world's most prestigious space program for over 10 years, has been accused of being a serial rapist, with Texas prosecutors inviting other victims to come forward.
Eric Sim, 37, who had been working at the Houston space center since at least 2012 according to his social media, has been charged with six counts of sexual assault in Houston.
There are at least six victims between 2019-2022, who prosecutors revealed met Sim through online apps, like Hinge, East Meets West and OKCupid.
Sims used his position at NASA to gain trust, claiming he was looking for a committed relationship, to lure the victims to his home where they were pinned down and raped, prosecutors claim.
'His predatory behavior with the victims in these cases, along with his NASA credentials, frequently mentioned to gain creditability with his victims and his international travel, all are clues that could indicate that could indicate further victims who are out there,' Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg stated at a press conference Wednesday.
A NASA employee has been charged with six different sexual assaults and authorities believe there may be more victims. Eric Sim, 37, is out of jail and on house arrest
Sim, a NASA engineer, was arrested last month
Sim has worked for NASA for over ten years and starred in a parody video for the space agency in 2011
One woman told investigators she was drugged, according to court documents.
'There are numerous countries he's traveled to," Detective Katelyn Howton of Houston police, revealed.
'Just a few we have in Japan, Canada, the UK, but there is a long list of international travels.'
Additionally, Sim's Instagram account shows him in Ecuador, Portugal, Spain, Qatar, Stockholm, the UK, France, Bulgaria, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina in the last 12 months.
'The nature of these offenses is so personal and so predatory that we felt it was important that we tell the public and ask the public to take a look, a long hard look at Mr. Sim,' Ogg added.
It's unclear whether Sims is still working at NASA, as the agency has not commented on his unemployment status.

A flight lead engineer at Johnson Space Center, Sim's relationship with NASA started while he was a student at North Carolina State when he starred a Gangnam-style parody for the space organization 11 years ago.
Sim, who was arrested last month, is under house arrest with 24-hour monitoring of his computer and other electronic devices, his attorney Neal Davis confirmed to DailyMail.com
'He's really a good guy; he met and dated many women on social networks,' Davis said.
'A very small number of those women had day-after regrets and are now falsely accusing him of sexual assault. It's something we're seeing more and more these days.'
The Houston lawyer has represented numerous men who have been falsely accused of criminal behavior by women they had consensual sex with, he claims, and the charges were later dismissed.

Sim's NASA video has been viewed over 8 million times on YouTube
'He's not guilty and we're looking forward to going to trial on this,' the lawyer stated.
'Just the allegation itself destroys people's livelihood and reputation, and when he's found not guilty by a jury, where does he go to get all that back?'
Sim's world travels were due to his love of photography, Davis quipped, not because he's a 'sexual predator' as the DA stated during her 'publicity stunt.'
Davis plans to hold his own press conference to show evidence of his client's innocence in the near future.
Houston police are asking other possible victims or people who have had contact with Sim to call 713-308-1176.
