British people have slammed a 'diabolical dinner' shared on social media by an American.
The plate, which appears to be from a buffet restaurant in LA, contains a bizarre combination of pizza, noodle stir fry, shrimp, squid, garlic bread, some sort of pastry and most objectionably of all: jelly cubes.
It was shared on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption: 'The European mind cannot comprehend this.'
The post has amassed over eight million views in just a few days, as people pile in to condemn the concoction.
Plenty more Brits, and X users of other nationalities, added to the scornful as one said: 'My brain can comprehend it - I just wish I've never seen it.'

Others flooded into the comments, adding: 'Was it AI generated?...
'We don't want to [comprehend it]...
'That's because we have actual food standards...
'That's not food!...
'Whatever that is, I'm sure you can find a bin for it...
'Pizza and noodles is a inhumane combo...
'I'm American and and I wouldn't eat those things together let alone on the same plate...
'I'm American not even I can comprehend this.'
Social media users then questioned how the plate was made up, with many guessing that the original poster, @TheGoblinnn, had compiled the plate himself at a buffet.
According to a number of replies came up with a prime suspect, saying they 'know a Golden Corral when I see one'.

In the background of the picture, whoever the photographer was joined by appears to be enjoying a selection of cakes.
Meanwhile, the poster only had room on his plate for a few cubes of jelly when it came to dessert - unless they count as seasoning.
The daring combination stuck out to viewers who asked 'why jelly cubes'.
This is an especially odd choice when you consider that a central premise of an all-you-can-eat is your ability to return to the buffet for seconds as you please.
However, it might have been because he did not trust himself to get back up from his seat after finishing the serving.
A little over an hour after the original tweet, the author took to X once again to say: 'Oh god my stomach hurts.'
