Seven people have been shot and two are dead after a gunman opened fire on bystanders during a bar fight.
A gunman is reported to have begun shooting after an altercation at Martini Bar in Doral, Florida at 3:30am Saturday, initially killing a security guard who intervened.
The chaotic scenes saw seven others shot, including six bystanders and a Doral Police Officer, before the gunman was shot and killed at the scene.
Of the six bystanders, two are in critical condition and four are in stable condition, and the cop was shot in the leg.
Two people were killed - including the alleged gunman - and seven others were injured after a bar fight turned into a horror shooting
The shooting erupted around 3:30am at the Martini Bar in Doral, Florida
The police officer who was shot in the leg had been responding to the incident with another cop, both of whom reportedly fired their weapons in the late-night shootout.
The gunman was killed during this exchange of gunfire, according to NBC Miami.
Doral Police Chief Lopez said the cop who was hit had been on the force for four years, and applied a tourniquet to his injured leg that may have saved his life.
The six bystanders that were shot were made up of one female and five males.
In a strange coincidence, the shooting erupted at the same Doral City Place mall area that Doral Police had performed a 'mass casualty' training drill at exactly one year to-the-day that the shooting unfolded.
On Saturday, a spokesperson for the Martini Bar told DailyMail.com that the bar's ownership are 'broken' and 'completely shaken' by the shooting.
'Our hearts are broken by the tragedy that unfolded at our venue early this morning that took the life of a dedicated security guard and injured several others,' the bar said in a statement.
'Our staff, patrons, and this community are like family to us, and we are completely shaken by this senseless act of violence.
'We’re working diligently to ensure that all those affected by this feel supported in every way possible. We are conducting our own internal investigation, as well as cooperating fully with all authorities.
'This trauma will be felt deeply by us all for a long time to come, and we are here for our community today, and always.'
