Five must-watch movies before Hulu removes them this weekend as the streaming platform kicks off a month-long purge of fan-favorites

Hulu will be dropping 35 popular movies from its streaming service in the month of April.

Some of the already removed films include 2022 fan-favorites, such as dark comedy satire The Menu, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult and Ralph Fiennes, as well as Robert De Niro-led thriller Savage Salvation.

On Thursday, 2021 animated movie sequel Monster Family 2: Nobody's Perfect was also removed.

Later this month, Wonder Woman, both of the original Ghostbusters films and Blade Runner 2049 are among several titles set to be taken off  the streaming service as well.

This upcoming weekend, Hulu users will bid farewell to Monster Family 2: Nobody's Perfect, Son of Bigfoot, Beast of Burden, Mr. Right and The Program.

On April 5, Hulu will be taking down 2017 family adventure favorite Son of Bigfoot.

It will be the last day for streamers to watch Beast of Burden, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Grace Gummer, as the 2018 action thriller will be leaving the platform on April 6 alongside action-comedy Mr. Right and The Program, a 2015 biopic retelling the life story of Lance Armstrong.

Mr. Right was filmed in 2015 and stars Anna Kendrick as a woman who discovers her new beau (Sam Rockwell) is not the 'perfect' guy she thought he was and is actually a professional hitman with a dangerous background.

After the upcoming weekend, the devastating displacements will not stop there as 2020 comedy-drama The War With Grandpa, which stars De Niro and Uma Thurman opposite one another, will be taken down on Monday, April 8.

In mid-April, 2010 horror flick Black Death is set to vanish alongside a long named title — 2015 subversive documentary Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon. 

Around the same time, fans will no longer be able to stream The Two Faces of January on Hulu.

The 2014 film, which is both parts thriller and romance, stars the inimitable Kirsten Dunst. 

It was written and directed by Hossein Amini as he made his feature film directorial debut with the flick.

Benediction, the 2021 critically acclaimed war and romance movie based on 20th century England during World War I, will also be parting ways with Hulu on April 15.

As such, the 2018 the R-rated horror comedy Banana Split will be leaving on April 27 and shortly thereafter, it will be followed by 2017 comedy drama Permanent and 2020 Daniel Radcliffe-led thriller flick Escape from Pretoria.

At the end of the month on April 30, Hulu will also remove 2021 historical drama epic The Last Duel — which features an all-star cast comprising of Adam Driver, Jodie Comer, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

The streaming platform will also remove crime biopic Billionaire Boys Club — which is centered around a group of wealthy Los Angeles boys in the '80s as they instigate a dangerous, get-rich-quick scheme.

The 2018 movie — which generally received poor reviews — stars Kevin Spacey, Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort, and Emma Roberts.

A host of popular sci-fi, action and superhero movies are also set to disappear from Hulu soon.

The list includes Downhill (2020), Failure to Launch (2006) as well as the first and second original Ghostbusters movies released in 1984 and 1989.
