A lucky winner in Oregon is $1.3 billion richer after Saturday's Powerball drawing...but who exactly is the newest billionaire remains a mystery.

The winning numbers of 22-27-44-52-69 with a Powerball of 9 were drawn for April 6. According to lottery officials, there was a lone jackpot winner in the Beaver State.

The lump sum prize is $621 million before taxes, though the winner will have an option of 29 annual payments for the full jackpot.

The lottery drawing, initially set for 11pm, was delayed to complete the required procedures before announcing the numbers.

There is no word yet on where the winning ticket was specifically sold.

In Oregon, winners can not remain anonymous as their name is public record.

The winner matched the correct six double-digit numbers on a $2 ticket. The chances of that happening are one in 292.2 million.

Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and in Puerto Rico.

In addition to the jackpot winner, there were $1million tickets sold in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan and Wyoming.

The traditional late-night drawing was delayed after 'one participating lottery that needed additional time to complete required pre-draw procedures,' according to Powerball officials.

The measures were put in place to ensure the security of the drawing.

Rules require all tickets that are sold to be checked and verified by two computer systems before the numbers can be drawn, according to Powerball. That helps ensure that all players have an equal chance of winning.

Powerball officials said one state - without naming which one - needed more time to complete the process.

'While a delay to tonight’s Powerball drawing is unfortunate, it means participating lotteries are following the game rules enacted to protect the integrity of the game. Every single ticket bought for Saturday’s Powerball drawing will be accounted for before the winning numbers are drawn,' lottery officials said.
