Nebraska volleyball star Harper Murray is reportedly facing a slew of charges after she was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol.
The 6ft 2ins business and law major - who was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year for 2023 - is part of the record-breaking Cornhuskers team.
But according to reports, Murray has now been cited and released for first offense DUI, careless driving, minor in possession, possession of a fake ID and obstructing a peace officer.
She was reportedly stopped by police in the early hours of Friday morning after officers spotted an Audi SUV flouting traffic laws.
Police carried out a stop of the vehicle and found Murray - the Gatorade National Player of the Year for 2022/23 - behind the wheel.

Officers are said to have suspected she was under the influence of alcohol and ordered Murray to take a breath test.
That revealed her blood-alcohol content was .169 - more than twice the legal limit - while police also reportedly found a fake ID on Murray.
It remains to be seen what - if any - impact the possible charges will have on Murray's volleyball career.
A school statement read: 'The Nebraska Athletic Department is aware of the incident. We are awaiting more information and will have no additional comment at this time.'
The 19-year-old has won a host of honors since joining the Cornhuskers. She was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times in the 2023 season before being named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
Murray was also selected for the All Big Ten First Team and she recently made the 2024 US Women's U21 National Team roster.
