CMT Awards 2024: Best dressed on the red carpet

The 2024 CMT Awards brought together some of the biggest names in the country music world on Sunday night at Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Kelsea Ballerini kicked off the red carpet in a scarlet lace accented David Koma gown, with sheer accents along the torso and skirt.

Lainey Wilson looked stylish in a black and silver pair of flared Area trousers, paired with a silver top and cowboy hat.

Joining them on the red carpet was Texas-native Mickey Guyton, who dazzled in a stunning silver and black sheer Retrofete gown.

The 2024 CMT Awards brought together some of the biggest names in the country music world on Sunday night at Moody Center in Austin, Texas 

Kelsea, 30, looked beautiful in the striking red David Koma gown, which included a lace see-through element along her torso, and a sheer skirt.

The country singer wore Jimmy Choo heels and Effy jewels. 

The Way I Used To singer wore her long blonde locks center parted with loose waves, opting for a rosy blush and pink lip.

She was joined on the red carpet by her boyfriend, Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes, 31. He looked handsome in a white blazer and shirt with black trousers.

The lovebirds had previously made their red carpet debut at last year's CMT Music Awards in April 2023.

They were first linked in January 2023. 

Kelsea, who served as the host for the CMT Awards, rocked a number of looks at the show, including a striking Barbie look, a shimmery jumpsuit and a see-through mesh number. 

She also wore a bold yellow dress and a T-shirt with gray trousers.

Lainey, 31, who became a household name with hit songs including Watermelon Moonshine and Heart Like a Truck, dazzled in a fitted silver top, paired with black and silver embellished flared Area trousers.

The country star wore a black cowboy hat with a statement choker and multiple rings.

She wore her long blonde locks loose in waves around her, with minimal makeup - highlighting her stunning natural beauty. 

Mickey looked incredible in a black and silver Retrofete gown - which was see-through and revealed her undergarment. 

The striking number had a fringed silver torso with fringe accents along the sheer skirt.

The rapper-turned-country sensation Jelly Roll had a career-best performance — so far— at the 2024 CMT Music Awards on Sunday when he took home three major honors, including the most prestigious award of the night, Video Of The Year.

'I am blessed to have you as a best friend. I am blessed to have you as a partner,' he said sweetly as she watched from the audience.

Trisha Yearwood was the recipient of the first-ever June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award.

The fan-voted award show aired live from the Moody Center on Sunday, April 7.

This year's edition was hosted once again by country icon Kelsea, who served as host for the last three ceremonies. This year, however, marked the first time she hosted on her own.

On top of hosting, Kelsea performed, with performances also by Jason Aldean, Dasha, Trisha Yearwood, Sam Hunt and more.

Ashley Cooke and Warren Zeiders were honored with the Female and Male Breakthrough Video of the Year awards, while Carly Pearce with Chris Stapleton and Dan + Shay were also honored.

The show featured an all-star tribute to the late country star Toby Keith, with Roger Clemens and Willie Nelson's son Lukas Neilson doing the introductions and Brooks & Dunn, former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar and Lainey Wilson leading the performances in Toby's hits Should’ve Been A Cowboy, I Love This Bar and How Do Ya Like Me Now?.
