Fans who attended Katt Williams' performance in Indianapolis headed to the exit a bit earlier than planned thanks to some brawling fans in the upper deck.

The 52-year-old comedian - who was slammed by Dave Chappelle back in January - was performing at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis on Saturday evening when a fight among fans broke out.

While the initial report from TMZ seemed to indicate a larger portion of the show was affected, a rep for the comedian said only five minutes of the show were cut.

A video from the event was taken far from the brawl in the upper deck section, though there wasn't a clear view of the altercation.

The video shows the house lights still down during the performance, as per usual, though fans can be heard reacting to the brawl going on.

A number of security guards are seen rushing over to break it up, while other fans are turning for the lights to be turned on.

Just moments later, the lights were turned on, with shots from the aftermath showing some of the participants, one of whom seemed to be bloodied.

Williams himself has not commented publicly about the brawl at this time, though his team did indicate the reason why the lights came on.

Members of the comedian's team said they believe the venue's policy is to turn the lights back on after a show.

They don't think that the lights were turned on to illuminate the brawl, but simply because the show was ending earlier than usual.

The venue was evacuated early due to the brawl, though it's unclear how Williams reacted to the show ending early.

There is also no word on what caused the brawl, or if any criminal charges have been filed as a result of it.

Katt made headlines for his criticisms of many Black comedians in his viral Shannon Sharpe interview, which Dave Chappelle blasted him for at MonDeRays at Hollywood Improv on Friday night.

A clip surfaced on X, in which Chappelle said, 'What part of the game is this? He ethered n****s. He didn’t say anything about any of these white boys. None of these white boys function like that.'

Continuing to stress his point, the longtime comic added: 'Katt is one of the best painters in the game. So why are you drawing ugly pictures of us? Stop. Hurt people hurt people, but I am a hurt person that never hurt people, and he does it all the time.'

The sit-down conversation between host Shannon Sharpe and Williams has been widely circulate on the internet and was even parodied on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live
