Country music star Morgan Wallen was arrested last night after allegedly launching a chair from the sixth floor of a rooftop bar in Nashville.

The singer, 30, was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct after hurling the chair from the Chiefs Bar just after 10.45pm on Sunday.

Officers from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department allege the piece of furniture landed just three feet away from them.

Warren started laughing after dangerously throwing the chair from the rooftop bar, according to bystanders.

The Cowgirls crooner was booked shortly after 12.30am. Wallen's bond was set at $15,250 and he was spotted being shielded by umbrellas as he was released from Davidson County jail around 3.30am.

MNPD released Wallen's mugshot on Monday morning, showing the country music star with a grin on his face.

It is unclear why Wallen threw the chair at law enforcement officers, or what led up to the incident.

DailyMail.com have reached out to Wallen's representatives for comment.

'At 10:53 pm Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct,' his attorney Worrick Robinson said in a statement. 'He is cooperating fully with authorities.'

The hitmaker is scheduled to perform at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville from May 2 to May 4 as part of his 'One Night at a Time' Tour.

However, his next court date is set to May 3.

Wallen could face up to 15 years in jail if he's convicted of the felony charges, and no less than one year.

MNPD confirmed with DailyMail.com that the country star was booked early on Monday for the three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Chiefs Bar is owned by fellow country artist Eric Church and was celebrating its grand opening over the weekend.

An Instagram account, @itscoopnashville, uploaded an image in the early hours of Monday morning showing Wallen being detained by MNPD.

In the image, the 30-year-old appears to be shouting at a cop from inside a police cruiser.

'I work there and the chair damn near took out 2 cops. He threw it from the 6th floor,' one Instagram user who claims to work at the bar wrote in the comments section.

Wallen was set to open up his own bar in 2024 called 'This Bar' in Nashville to pay tribute to his Tennessee roots.

The six-story bar will be located at 107 4th Avenue North on Lower Broadway and is set to be a live music venue and restaurant.

The arrest isn't Wallen's first trouble with the law.

In May 2020, he was detained over disorderly conduct at Kid Rock's Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville.

The country music star was also arrested at the lower Broadway bar for public intoxication.

He was placed into custody outside Kid Rock's Big Honky Tonk and Steakhouse after reportedly kicking several glass items, according to a Metro Nashville Police Department affidavit.

An officer observed security guards kick Wallen out of the bar due to being disorderly inside.

According to the affidavit, Wallen was given several opportunities by police to walk away with his friends but refused.

He was also charged with DUI in 2016 but the case was dismissed.

Wallen has a three-year-old son with his ex-fiancee KT Smith. He has since split with the mother of his child, and she is in a new relationship with Luke Scornavacco.

Wallen's ex-fiancee Katie 'KT' Smith announced her engagement just over a week ago, on Easter Sunday.

Warren was forced to cancel six weeks of shows during his 2023 tour for health issues after warnings from his voice doctor.

The singer was born in Sneedville, Tennessee. His father was a local church pastor and his mother was a teacher.

Wallen's latest album, One Thing at a Time, was the most popular album of 2023, while its lead single Last Night earned the highest number of streams of any record last year.

It comes after backlash to Wallen being caught on video using the N-word while hanging out with friends in Nashville back in 2021.

Wallen apologized after the incident, saying he was 'embarrassed' over his actions.

Despite facing severe backlash for the racist outburst, he broke the record for most songs by an artist on the chart at one time for this third studio album One Thing at a Time, which was released in 2023.

John Rich, a 50-year-old country music star from Texas, posted support for Wallen online after his most recent arrest.

'Reading about Morgan Wallen this morning, and I can't help but recall all the destructive, crazy things I did early on in my career,' he wrote on X.

'The combo of intense pressure, expectations and over the top success is a dangerous cocktail. Thank God I had great mentors who helped guide me out of that mindset, and I hope Morgan has some people around him who care about him enough to help him find a new approach to life.'
