Tyrrell Hatton's R-Rated response to one of his tee shots was captured by microphones during the final round of LIV Golf Miami on Sunday.

Hatton helped Jon Rahm's Legion XIII claim team victory at Trump National Doral in his final event before major season begins at The Masters this week.

But that didn't stop the Englishman from losing his temper on the 475-yard par-four 14th, when his drive kicked away from the fairway and towards a wooded area down the right.

'That can reach those trees, can't it?' Hatton was heard asking. 'F***ing what a w**k bounce that was... if it f***ing bounces left it's fine.'

Hatton's rant continued as he bent down to pick up his tee. 'F*** you,' he said to himself. 'F***ing c**t'.'

The Englishman has never been one to hide his emotions out on the course - Hatton's outbursts and fiery temper have helped make him one of the more popular players on tour.

Despite his wayward drive and his rant in Miami, however, the 32-year-old still managed to make par.

He went on to finish the tournament on eight-under-par - three shots adrift of eventual winner Dean Burmester.

But Hatton's preparations for The Masters took an unfortunate turn in Miami - just days before the action begins at Augusta.

The Englishman has flown out a friend to be on his bag after his regular caddie suffered a freak injury.

Mick Donaghy, the larger than life character who is ordinarily at Hatton’s side, ‘fell’ after dinner on Saturday night during the LIV event .

Hatton went on to finish in a tie for fourth before explaining Donaghy’s absence from Sunday’s final round.

He said: ‘My caddie fell over last night after dinner. Now, his reputation is an interesting one, so I don’t know how the fall really occurred. But either way, he landed on his shoulder.’

While no bones are believed to have been broken, Donaghy did spend Sunday afternoon in hospital.

Hatton’s team confirmed to Mail Sport that Hugo Dobson, who previously deputized for the no-nonsense Glaswegian when he took time out with a knee injury in 2022, will make a late dash to Augusta to step in.
