A nutritionist has revealed her lifted the lid on the secret to shedding off pounds without cutting out your favorite foods
Taking to her Instagram account, Maddie broke down her favorite weight loss tips.
She first told people on the web that they should avoid tracking how much they eat.
'Stop Counting Calories. If the thought of counting another calorie or point makes you wanna scream — delete the apps. It’s ok to focus on habits instead,' she explained.
Maddie then revealed that instead of tracking how much you should eat, you should indulge more.
She specifically advised people to make sure to enjoy a well-balanced breakfast every morning.
The nutritionist added: 'Eat Breakfast. Like a real breakfast!! Coffee by itself is not enough. Ideas: Overnight oats with berries+ almonds, Avocado toast w/ tofu scramble, Chia pudding w/ strawberries, Egg bites w/ grits.'
And while your morning meal is important, Maddie emphasized that what you're eating for lunch and dinner also matters.
She explained that adding high-protein foods to your meals can help you achieve your weight loss goals faster.
Maddie added: 'Aim for 20 grams of protein with MOST meals. Try adding a high protein food to your meals like lentils, edamame, tofu or eggs and salmon if you like to include animal foods.'

She also advised her over 113,000 followers to try their best to eat more vegetables - especially during lunch and dinner.
'Include 1 or more veggies with lunch and dinner. Sounds like a lot? Add one veggie to dinner. Already hitting that? Aim for one to two cups of veggies with lunch and dinner,' the content creator said.
Lastly, the nutritionist explained that your mental health and your mindset is crucial to shedding pounds.
She explained that before your body could let go of the extra weight, your mind needed to release what's no longer serving you as well.
'Take out the mental trash A healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy mindset! Start by noticing the thoughts you say to yourself. It takes time and support can help,' she explained.
Maddie noted that dieting makes you 'second guess everything you eat,' adding that by 'eating more', you will feel more 'energized' and 'confident.'
