Country singer Morgan Wallen was arrested on April 7 after allegedly launching a chair from the sixth floor of a rooftop bar in Nashville - shortly after his ex-fiancée announced she had eloped.
Days prior, the singer's ex Katie 'KT' Smith had announced her engagement to new partner Luke Scornavacco, swiftly before tying the knot.
Following the announcement, Wallen was arrested after throwing a chair at the Chief's On Broadway bar in Nashville.
Sources claim he has been 'crushed' by his former flame's wedding announcement and the incident was a by-product of 'reality hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life.'
As Morgan Wallen is released on bail, MailOnline takes a look at the events prior to his arrest.

Wallen was released on bond from a Metropolitan Nashville Police Department after hurling the chair from the Chiefs Bar just after 10.45pm on April 7.
The musician was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanour disorderly conduct.
Officers claim the chair landed three feet away from them.
He was arrested at 12.30am (CDT) and was released three hours later on a bond of $15,250 (£12,050), local authorities report.
According to sources, Wallen was upset after discovering his ex-fiancée Katie 'KT' Smith had eloped with Luke Scornavacco on April 3 — just five days after they got engaged.
KT began her relationship with Luke in June 2023, around four years after she called it quits with Wallen.
Luke eventually proposed to the social media influencer, who shares a child with Wallen on March 29, 2024.
The pair announced their elopement via Instagram only days later with the caption 'swipe for a surprise'.
The surprise in question was their wedding certificate from the Wilson County Clerk's Office in Tennessee, confirming the couple had in fact tied the knot.

However, Wallen was 'crushed' by his former flame's wedding announcement, according to sources.
'KT's marriage to Luke last week just crushed him,' a source told Dailymail.com
'Of course he knew they were engaged and eventually going to get married - but eloping just days after they got engaged?
'Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn't stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son.
'Whatever happened at that bar had to be reality hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life.'
The country singer's lawyer has said Wallen is cully co-operating with authorities following the incident and is set to appear in court on May 3.
However, the chair incident is not Wallen's first run-in with the law having previously been arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct outside a Kid Rock party in May 2020. The Evening Standard reports.

Country crooner Morgan Wallen dated his ex-partner Katie 'KT' Smith for three years before the pair eventually called it quits in 2019.
KT was born and raised in Florida until she was 12-years-old, according to People.
Her parents separated when she was a toddler, with her father dying when she was only four-years-old.
KT attended between 10 and 15 schools and moved around often.
At the age of 12, she and her mother moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to be closer to her half-brother.
Whilst she was dating Wallen, she was a social media intern at her church and later held a sales position.
Following a car accident, KT left her post at the church and took up a role at her apartment complex.
However when the country star went public with their relationship, KT's social media following began to sky-rocket, raking up over 100,000 followers.
She said in her blog: 'A social media management company reached out to me and asked me to work for brands full time, and so I did just that.
'I ended up moving to a rental that was better suited for the little family we created and never went back to the apartment job after maternity leave.'

Wallen and KT first met on Snapchat in 2016, with the pair's partnership evolving quickly as they got engaged only months after meeting.
The couple were together for three years despite breaking off their engagement early on in their romance,
Wallen's new found fame in the country music world put pressure on their partnership as KT confessed in her blog that their final year together was 'rocky'.
According to her, the musician was not always faithful whilst on tour even though the couple lived together.
Admitting that she and Wallen were on-and-off during their final year together, KT explained that she would see the star when he was in town and she would try and tour with him when she could,
'But being thrown into the spotlight at such a young age is obviously going to come with some bad decisions. He wasn't the most faithful,' she added.
After the couple called it quits in 2019, KT discovered she was pregnant with their son Indigo Wilder.
In an interview with People, Wallen said being a single parent was not how imagined fatherhood to be, but he was still looking forward to becoming a dad.
'I wanted to have a family like my parents. My parents are still together, you know,' he shared.
'They raised [me and my sisters] together. That was my idea of what my life would look like.
'That's not the way it turned out. And I struggled with that a little bit when I first found out.'
The country singer announced the birth of their son on July 10, 2020, saying he was a 'changed man'.
Morgan and KT struggled to adjust to their co-parenting, as the new mother confessed she still felt 'bitter' towards her ex.
However according to KT, the pair later managed to work out a schedule they were both happy six months after Indigo was born.
