A giant mass of flesh has horrified locals after it washed up on a beach in Malaysia.
The disgusting 'globster' - an unidentified organic mass - is believed to be the remains of a whale, which emerged from the sea on Telok Melano beach around 12pm last Friday.
Masses like this one, which are also known as blobs, often turn out to be the carcasses of whales, sharks or octopuses.
Only a DNA test will be able to identify what the globster used to be before it washed ashore as the approximately 6ft-long rotting mass.
The coast guard, which found the globster during a beach patrol, shared footage of the giant brown and white globster on social media, including a video where horrified locals inspect the mass.

'On April 5, 2024, the APM Coastal Rescue Team found the body of a whale stranded on Melano Bay Beach around 12.03pm,' the post by the coast guard read.
'Members on duty found the body while conducting surveillance around the beach.'
One commenter under the post wrote: 'Poor thing. Unfortunate (because it's dead) but a rare find,' while another called the globster 'creepy'.
This is not the first time a globster washed up on a beach.
Back in 2018, a huge hairy sea creature was found in the Philippines - sparking fears it is an omen that a natural disaster is looming.

The globster appeared to be the rotting remains of a whale due to the distinct form on one end of the blob
The body of the mystery 20ft-long animal surfaced in the town of San Antonio in Oriental Mindoro province at about 7pm on May 11, 2018.
Villagers flocked to see the enormous carcass of the globster and pose for selfies.
Marine workers took samples from the strange creature, which is four feet wide at one end and two feet wide at the other.
They said the greyish white blob smelled 'awful' and like 'something from another planet'.
And some residents were left fearing the dead animal was a warning that a natural disaster might be on the horizon.
