Frankie Valli's son Emilio has filed for a temporary restraining order against his older brother in order to protect himself and his father.
The 89-year-old singer's son Emilio, 29, filed the request in Los Angeles to keep his older brother Francesco, 36, away from himself and his father, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
Emilio claims that his older brother attempted to break into Frankie's home on April 5.
Although the attempted entry doesn't appear to have been successful, Emilio alleged in his filing that his brother Francesco spewed threats against his brother and his father before leaving.
A representative for Valli tells DailyMail.com: 'Frankie is saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family issues.'

The hitmaker's son Emilio claims that he and his father have been dealing with Francesco's disturbing behavior for months now.
According to the younger son, Frankie has been financially supporting Francesco for some time. However, Emilio claims that his older brother has lately been abusing drugs, and he has allegedly gotten desperate for money as a result.
Things took a negative turn after the Can't Take My Eyes Off You singer cut off the money flow to Francesco.
After Francesco allegedly failed to break into the house, Emilio claims he threatened to hurt and kill both his brother and father, leaving Frankie fearing for his life.
The singer's younger son also alleged in his filing that Francesco has resorted to stealing and then selling off his father's possessions in order to fund his opioid use, which he thinks may have been the motivation behind last week's attempted break-in.
According to Emilio, his brother Francesco's behavior has become increasingly erratic as his drug use has continued and his father has tried to extricate himself from his demands, so he wants to get legal protection to keep Francesco away from himself and his father, as well as off Frankie's property.
Valli rose to fame in the early 1960s as the frontman of the popular vocal quartet The Four Seasons, and he had hits throughout the 1960s and '70s with the group.
He also scored hits as a solo artist in the '70s, including with the title song for the 1978 film Grease, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

The alleged conflict with his son Francesco comes as Valli is set to say goodbye to the Four Seasons.
He's on tour with the current touring lineup of the band as part of its Last Encores farewell tour, which is expected to wrap up late this year after starting in 2023.
In addition to being a popular singer, Valli has occasionally worked as an actor with guest appearances on show's including The Sopranos, Miami Vice and Full House.
Valli's early successes and intra-band drama were depicted in the long-running jukebox musical Jersey Boys, which debuted on Broadway in 2005. Clint Eastwood directed an adaptation of the musical in 2014.
