Olivia Dunne took time to go through the Instagram comments in reply to her latest selfies on social media and the LSU gymnast joked she was 'scared' by some of the enthusiastic replies.

The 21-year-old Dunne shared a trio of pictures of her posing in a black dress earlier this week and like with any of her social media posts, the likes and comments poured in.

One fan replied with a poem about how Dunne 'has captured my heart in ways I never thought were possible' - to which she simply wrote back: 'I'm scared'.

Another follower declared his devotion to her by dreams of holding hands with Dunne, to which she replied with a hint about her relationship with the MLB prospect Paul Skenes, of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

'I hate to break it to you...' Dunne wrote back.

And in another, where a fan praised Dunne for her outfit, she joked that der dog Roux had picked it for her.

Last week, Dunne enjoyed one of her best nights in gymnastics with LSU, scoring a 9.90 despite being called to anchor the LSU Tigers in floor exercises on short notice.

In a competition against BYU, Oregon State, and No. 15 Minnesota, Dunne subbed in for Kiya Johnson in the last minute to anchor a noteworthy team performance.

'We pulled Kiya out in the end not because of anything particular,' head coach Jay Clark said. 'We knew the meet was at hand and we needed to go easy on her body.'

While being a talented gymnast, Dunne's profile has skyrocketed due to her online presence.

According to SportsKeeda, Dunne has earned around $6million in endorsement deals which come primarily through social media.
