Native American Sioux tribe leaders have demanded a 'full and thorough' investigation into the death of a Yellowstone spinoff actor.
Cole Brings Plenty, 27, was found dead in a wooded area in Kansas on Friday, days after he went missing.
The Lakota actor is the nephew of Yellowstone star Mo Brings Plenty, 54, and appeared in the prequel 1923.
Cops have yet to release his cause of death but stated they do not believe there was any foul play.
However, tribe leaders are now requesting a full probe and said their attorney will be contacting officials.

'The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe demands a full and thorough investigation into Cole's disappearance and subsequent death. Our Attorney General will be in contact with the Kansas Authority to ensure this is accomplished,' the tribe said in a statement to Native News.
The statement offered the tribe's, 'deepest sympathy and support to Cole's family and friends'.
'He was an exemplary example of what it means to be a good relative and we stand with you in your grief,' it added.
'Further, to our young relatives who are students and reside in Lawrence, Kansas, we will provide further information about counseling services for anyone in need of support as information becomes available.'
The actor's uncle shared a missing persons poster of his nephew on Instagram on April 2, announcing that Cole had been last seen the previous Sunday on Easter night.
Kansas police had issued an affidavit for Cole’s arrest in relation to a domestic violence incident the same day.
Officers received reports of a 'female screaming for help' on Sunday morning at an apartment in Lawrence, according to 12News.
It was alleged that Cole had 'driven away from the scene and was thought to be headed southbound on Highway 59,' the site claimed.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office in Kansas announced that Cole's body was discovered in a wooded area on Friday morning, per KCTV5
The cause of death is not known and the case remains under investigation
Cole, known for his role as sheepherder Pete Plenty Clouds in 1923, was last spotted leaving Lawrence, Kansas, in his car.
The white 2005 Ford Explorer was later picked up near where his body was found on Friday.
'Detectives, crime scene investigators, and the Medical Examiner's Office have been working diligently with the Lawrence Police Department and the Brings Plenty family. There is no indication of foul play in the death of Cole Brings Plenty,' Sheriff Calvin Hayden said.
