Jeopardy! fans slammed the latest game as 'awful' after all three contestants fluffed an 'easy' Disney question.

Viewers were left underwhelmed by the new batch of players during an eventful episode of the popular quiz show on Wednesday.

It was during the final round that host Ken Jennings, 49, announced the category would be 'animated film characters.'

But the three participants all got the answer wrong as fans branded it as 'embarrassing for everyone involved.'

In the segment, Ken revealed the question to be: 'In this 2017 film, Dante is a hairless breed known as a Xolo dog.'

He wished the contestants luck and started the 30-second countdown before the contestants' guesses were revealed.

Lee Wilkin, a regulatory affairs coordinator from Alabama, who was in third, incorrectly guessed: 'What is Chinese Crested?'

Daniel Rosenberg, a lawyer from New York City, had initially guessed at Zootopia but had then crossed it out in favor of Superpets - neither of which was correct.

Lastly, Lucas Partridge, who works as a school counselor from Nevada, answered: 'What is Luca?'

Explaining where they all went wrong, Ken dished: 'The Xolo dog is the national dog of Mexico. The Xoloitzcuintle.

'What is Coco? The movie we are looking for.'

In the popular animated Disney Pixar movie, the Xoloitzcuintle stray dog named Dante, transitioned into the main character Miguel's spirit animal in the land of the dead.

Another person added: 'Don't know my dog breeds, but considering Xolo is clearly a Nahuatl word, the movie came out in 2017, and it's a hairless breed, I immediately flashed back to that derpy dog in Coco lol.'

One follower commented: 'This Final was so easy! I got it right!'

'HOW THE F*** DID NONE OF THEM COME UP WITH THE RIGHT MOVIE!?!?!? Desk bangs epically,' another follower asked.

One viewer wrote: 'Massive Ls. Congrats to the winner.'
