Kailyn Lowry has begged parents to 'teach' their sons about periods after she 'unexpectedly' got her period while she was on vacation with her four older boys.

The mom-of-seven is no stranger to the spotlight as she began starring in the hit reality show Teen Mom 2 when she was just 17 years old.

And the 32-year-old podcaster hasn't stopped sharing updates about her family just yet as she is now airing out parenting advice on her TikTok channel, where she boasts over 3.2 million followers.

Kailyn most recently went viral for calling on parents to teach their sons about periods so that they can step up in to help if needed, as she detailed how her battle with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) affects her menstrual cycle.

In a viral video, which has so far amassed over 2.7 million views, the mom-of-seven admitted that she has no shame in asking her sons to help her when it's that time of the month - and other parents shouldn't be either.

She captioned it: 'Teach boys!'

At the beginning of the clip, she explained that she had 'unexpectedly' gotten her period while on vacation with her four eldest sons - Isaac, 13, whom she shares with ex Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 10, whom she shares with ex Javi Marroquin, Creed, three, and Lux, six, whom she shares with ex Chris Lopez.

'Now normally I wouldn't freak out about this, but I have four of my boys with me by myself. So thankfully, they know what to look for if I were to have a little Aunt Flow emergency. Isaac or Lincoln could go to the store for me and grab something,' she said explained.

The mom noted that since she is irregular when it comes to her cycle, she doesn't mind asking her sons to check if she has bled through her pants.

She added: 'In the event we were out and about, I would have no shame asking my oldest son to check me because sometimes you just don't know if you leak through things.'

In addition to her four eldest boys, Kailyn is also mom to twins Verse and Valley, 15 months, and Rio, one year.

People on the web flooded the comments section and praised the reality star for her parenting advice.
