A young woman has been left feeling 'like a Disney villain' after her best friend used the 'awful' baby name she'd suggested in jest for her first born son.
The woman revealed her friend had come to her for guidance - asking which of a long list of names she preferred.
On the list was the name Oliver, which has been the number one most popular name for Australian parents for a decade.
She replied that name was her favourite - but that she would spell it Aulliver. The pals then 'laughed it off' and the conversation moved on.
Then the baby arrived.
'She gave birth, made a Facebook announcement. She'd named him Aulliver, I'm sorry my boy. I didn't think she'd do that,' she wrote on Reddit.

Hundreds shared their own cheeky suggestions which were taken a little too far.
'I did something similar.. .suggested a middle name that would make the child's initials something that would make a middle school boy laugh. They went with it,' said one.
Another woman admitted she was so sick of her sister-in-law asking for her list of girl names she told her she only had one: 'Mierda'.
The name means 'sh*t' in Spanish, and was meant as a joke - but then her sister in-law went on to use it at the hospital.
'They went with that name, but guess what? Their OB/GYN speaks Spanish, and informed them exactly what that name was,' she said.
Others recalled people they'd met with even worse names.
I knew someone called Mary Conde (which translates to 'f*ggot of' if you read it as 'Maricon de' in Spanish,' one woman said.
'Anyway, she met a really nice guy with whom she was very happy for many years. Problem was, Spanish speaking naming conventions meant she ended up with the full name 'Mary Conde Plazas' which is 'F*ggot of the Town Square'.'
Another woman revealed her nephew spelled Oliver the same way.
'They named their son Aulliver because her and her husband's names start with A,' she said.
'For some reason it almost bothers me more that they often shorten it to Aullie,' she confessed.
Others said the joke-gone-wrong made them feel like messing with their own expecting friends.
