A video of Dave Chappelle recounting the four different times he met OJ Simpson has gone viral in the wake of the late NFL star and accused murderer's death.
On Wednesday, it was announced that OJ had passed away at age 76 in Nevada following a short battle with prostate cancer - almost three decades after he was famously acquitted for the 1994 murders of his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
Now, a resurfaced clip of comedian Dave, 50, discussing his run-ins with the controversial football player over the years has taken over the web.
Despite admitting that he believed OJ had killed Nicole, Dave still shockingly described the former athlete as 'one of the nicest' people he had ever met.

The star explained during a show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles in 2017 that he had crossed paths with OJ on numerous occasions, and the first occurred in 1991, when he was just starting off as a comedian and OJ was at the height of his career.
'At the time I was 18, I had done a show in Santa Monica and the guy from the club came up and was like, "OJ Simpson's here and he said he wants to meet you,"" recalled Dave.
'I was like, "What? F**k yeah." I ran down the steps and OJ was there and he was like, "Hey man how are you? It's nice to meet you, you're doing really good work. I hope good things happen in your life."
'I said, "Thanks Mr. Juice." Standing beside him was his soon-to-be slain wife. That woman was very nice to me, she actually embraced me.
'She said, "I think you're adorable, good luck to you," and she hugged me and held me for a long time. I whispered in her ear, "B***h are you trying to get us both killed?" I'm just kidding I didn't say that.'
Dave went on to explained that the second time he met OJ was right after the sensational trial that completely captivated the nation.
While a jury found OJ not guilty for the killings, he was later found civilly liable and forced to pay out $33.5 million in damages to the victims' families.
'The second time I met OJ Simpson was right after the trial of the century, when OJ Simpson was the most famous or infamous face on planet earth' Dave continued.

Dave went on to explained that the second time he met OJ was right after the sensational trial, when he ran into him at a restaurant. Dave is seen in 1995, around the time of the trial
He explained that he was eating in a restaurant in Beverly Hills with his agents when he noticed OJ walking towards the exit.
'The restaurant fell still. I was shocked. I didn't mean to say it out loud but it just came out. "OJ?" I said,' Dave told the audience.
'He stopped and turned around to see who said it, saw my black face and correctly assumed it was me.
'He came over to the booth I was in, leaned over my white [agents] and shook my hand.
'"How are you young man?" [he asked]. He looked in my eyes and I could see in his eyes that he didn't remember meeting me the first time. And then he walked away. I looked back at my agents and they had nothing short of disgust on their faces.'
Dave said one of his agents, named Sharon, asked him, 'How could you shake hands with that murderer?' to which he told her, 'Sharon, with all due respect, that murderer ran for over 11,000 yards' - a reference to one of his biggest accomplishments as a football player.
'And he was acquitted so you know, f**k it. The glove didn't fit,' Dave added.
His third run-in with OJ came in 2004, when Dave said he was 'doing great in life'; he was in the midst of starring in The Chappelle Show, and was touring the globe.

His third run-in with OJ came in 2004, when OJ sat front row at one of his shows and talked to him for 90 minutes backstage afterwards. Dave is seen in 2004
One night during a show in Miami, Florida, he said he stepped on stage and noticed that OJ was in the front row.
'I saw recognition in his eyes and it filled me with pride that he knew who I was,' he revealed.
'I didn't acknowledge his presence because it was a white audience and I didn't want to start a panic.
'I did my show, and it went great. And at the end I gave OJ a signal to let him know I knew he was there.'
He said OJ came to the green room afterwards and they talked for about 90 minutes before the actor thanked him for his 'hospitality' and left.
'In my experience, OJ Simpson was the nicest man I ever met. He was nice to me, he was nice to my friends, and the conversation was filled with warmth, levity, humor, and wisdom,' he continued.
But he added, 'As soon as the door closed [me and my friends] all looked at each other like, "That n***a did that s**t." It was a feeling. I could feel murder in the room.'
The fourth and final time that Dave met OJ was at a party hosted by Michael Jordan for the Kentucky Derby. He's seen at the Kentucky Derby in 2005
He said OJ (seen in 2006) wanted to take a pictured together but he refused. 'Sorry Juice, my career was too flimsy to survive a picture with you,' Dave jokingly admitted
The fourth and final time that Dave met OJ was at a party hosted by Michael Jordan for the Kentucky Derby.
He said he was chatting with fellow comedian Chris Tucker when OJ suddenly approached them.
'He had his camera ready. He was like, "Dave, Chris, good to see you guys. Let's all get together for a picture,"' recalled the comedian.
But he explained that he had just quit his show and was at a fragile point in his career - and didn't want his reputation to be tarnished by snapping a photo with the accused killer.
'At the same time, me and Chris were like, "No, we can't do that." Sorry Juice, my career was too flimsy to survive a picture with you,' he jokingly admitted.
While Dave spoke about his experiences with OJ at a show in 2017 - which was recorded for a Netflix special - someone recently shared a clip of it to X, formerly Twitter, in the wake of OJ's passing.
It got over 1.7 million views, and left many people on the web in shambles.
