A moving expert has issued eight top tips to ensure Brits can master packing effortlessly.
According to research, homeowners pack - and unpack - 95 boxes, lose ten precious items, experience 15 crying bouts, fall out with family ten times - and endure ten nights of sleeping on a blow-up mattress, during an average house move.
While a third admit they found moving home so stressful that it had a negative impact on their mental health, with 68 percent saying they would love someone to pack and organise everything for them.
But Jo Winston, from property firm St. Modwen Homes, has revealed eight handy tips to ensure your packing is stress-free.

Jo adds: 'Plus, using selling sites like Vinted and eBay, you could even make a pretty penny, too.'

Jo says: 'Create a check list in advance and tick things off as you go - from cleaning to calling movers. Make the plan realistic so you can stick to it.'
