Prior to his posts about President Biden, Trump had posted: 'Israel is under attack!

'This should never have been allowed to happen. This would never have happened if I were President!'

On Friday, Trump branded the president 'pretty pathetic' and reiterated his view that Iran wouldn't be attacking Israel if he remained in office.

He had been referring to remarks made by the president that the a Iranian attack on Israel was imminent.

Trump added: 'for the president of our country to actually put out a warning that he thinks that we're going to be attacked or they're going to be attacked.

'That's pretty pathetic. This is a very dangerous period of time in our nation and a big reason that it's dangerous is because we have a president that's grossly incompetent.'

Shortly after news broke of the attacks on Israel by Iranian forces, President Biden was rushed back to the White House from Delaware

In a post to X, he said: 'I just met with my national security team for an update on Iran’s attacks against Israel.
