The self-proclaimed 'world's best cleaner' says she turns away properties that are not dirty enough.

Auri Kananen, 30, says her tolerance for filth and grime 'keeps getting higher' and nothing is off limits when it comes to tackling a challenge.

Boasting more than 15 million followers across her social media channels and now living in Miami, no mess is too disgusting for the super cleaner - she even describes the properties she visits as 'beautiful' and 'amazing'.

She transforms the homes of vulnerable people who are struggling with things like mental health or mobility completely on her own - and refuses to charge them a penny.

Auri shares TikToks of herself tackling the filthy homes, which rack up millions of views each, and prompt more requests begging her to take on their messes.

However, with the motto 'the dirtier the better,' she actually turns down properties that are too clean as she finds them 'boring'.

She told MailOnline: 'The worst ones are the best ones for me, for sure. Most of them are too clean for me.

'So there's times where people ask me to vacuum or help with organizing stuff, but I want to do the dirtiest ones'.

The cleaning fanatic gets around three requests each day, of people asking her to help them - but she handpicks the worst ones.

Laughing, she explained that 'nothing' could be too dirty and that when it's too clean 'it's too boring'.

Auri said: 'My tolerance keeps getting higher, I want more and more. So there's nothing that would be too dirty, no way.

'I often have to tell people, sorry it's too clean for me'.

Dubbed the 'Queen of cleaning' on social media, it's no surprise the 30-year-old is never fazed.

She explained: 'A basic house I clean is where you can't see the floor. It's full of trash and everything -  that's like normal.

'But then there was this one house, with a kitchen that had trash up to your waist,

'The hallway was so full of trash that you couldn't see the kitchen, because the room in front of it was just rubbish'.

Boasting about her passion for cleaning, she gushed: 'There were rats and everything, it was beautiful'.

Another property she visited had a bathroom 'full of used pads' where you couldn't see the floor, which Auri described as 'amazing'.

Meanwhile, a recent favourite project of hers was a house that had mushrooms and moss growing in the sink.

The home belonged to a transgender woman who 'felt lost' before her transition and let her home deteriote, leading her to ask Auri for help.

The cleaner said: 'The people I help are at a breaking point in their lives, they want something to change in their lives.

'When they see the transformation they are usually very surprised  because if you imagine they have been living there for years and they are used to not seeing their floors or their kitchen sink.

'Many of them are like, oh, my God! I haven't seen my floor for years. Imagine that feeling, it must feel crazy. It's hard to even like describe.

'Sometimes they cry, sometimes they shake, sometimes they can't talk. They have different reactions, each of them, but it's always a shock for brain'.

As well as having a devotion to helping others, the Finland native genuinely loves cleaning and finds it extremely satisfying.

She said: 'I love it. I just love it, because if there's  a thick layer of dust, humans can't create a that, time created it.

'Then I'm there, and I can wipe it away in a second, so it's the most satisfying thing ever.

'Anybody can throw trash on the floor, it's not hard, but if there's like hard stains, or lyears and years of dust, it's so satisfying - I love it'.

Sometimes, despite her effors, she gets negative comments that she 'hasn't bought someone a new mattress or new bed, or cleaned every wall'.

'I can't do everything,' she admitted, 'where's the line?  Sometimes I have bought them a bed or something they need but it depends. I try to focus on cleaning'.

Auri always turns up armed with a ski bag full of tripods and extension arms to help reach difficult places, as well as two large suitcases full of cleaning supplies.

Her essential items are Scrub Daddy sponges, scrapers, vinegar powder paste, kitchen cleaner and a multitude of soaps.

On average, the cleaning pro will spend two days on one property - two twelve hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, sometimes finishing even later.

However, the longest clean she's ever done took her five days as the house was 'huge and full of rubbish'.

Shockingly, Auri does it all herself with no team behind her, she only recruits family and friends to help her with carrying the equipment.

Although, sometimes big fans of the TikToker message her to ask if they come along to help, which is something she gets excited about and enjoys inviting people along.

She revealed: 'I get more like requests to clean with me than actual cleaning requests, because people want to help.

'It feels good to give a fresh start to these people. Before this I was volunteering at a suicide hotline, so helping people has always been very important to me.

'I've combined my 2 favorite things like helping people and cleaning'.

When asked if she worries about the homes getting dirty again, she said: 'I don't care. They can keep it clean or make it messy again. It's their decision.

'I just wanna clean so for me doesn't matter. For example, if somebody loves knitting socks, they want to do it. They don't really care if the person is going to use them or not'.

Auri took up cleaning at the age of 16, following in her mother's footsteps, progressing to a supervisor role four years later - she slowly learned the ins and outs of the trade.

However, she says she didn't enjoy it that much back then, explaining: 'I wasn't that good. It was only when I became the world's best, that I studied and started to teach people, then I really fell in love with cleaning'.

She began making TikTok videos to show the world her impressive before and afters, and was soon bombarded by people asking for her to help them.

Auri would be scrubbing walls and disposing of rotten food and rubbish on her weekends as a hobby, while still working a full time cleaning job in the week.

As her videos gained recognition, she made her way through sponsorships, her main one being with Scrub Daddy - this allows her to provide services to those who need it for free.

The TikToker was able to quit her job and become a full time cleaning influencer.

She explained: 'I live in Finland, and mainly I clean there, but my sponsors pay me to clean abroad.

'So I've been cleaning in Sweden, in Switzerland, in Germany, in the US, UK, all around the world. Now currently I live in Miami, and I'm here for 3 months. So I'm cleaning here.

'My family think I'm crazy, but I think they're used to that because I am just a bit crazy person.

'But of course they like that I'm doing what makes me happy. I'm always doing things that makes me happy.

'Cleaning is universal thing. Everybody has to clean. It's so satisfying to see something change, like before and after.

Commenting on her success, she added: 'Because I am a professional cleaner, it is satisfying to watch some someone who knows how to do things right. People love these stories, and that this cleaning is helping other others'.

If your house could be Auri's next big challenge, you can contact her by emailing by filling out the form on her website, or sending her an Instagram DM.
