Wild footage captured the moment a driver clashed with another person who tried to reserve a parking space for his friend by standing in the empty spot.
The heated exchange between the pair took place inside an alleyway in Melbourne at 10.20am on April 7.
Daschcam footage showed the driver as he began to pull into the empty space before he was confronted by the man standing in his way.
'I'm going to park over here,' the male driver told the man.

The man, who was wearing a black wet weather jacket and a pair of matching shorts, replied bluntly: 'Someone's coming.'
'Where's the car'? the driver asked.
The man informed the driver his friend was 'coming around' with the response prompting a furious response from the driver.
The motorist ordered the man to get out of the space before he began to slowly move his vehicle into the spot.
'I got all of this recorded mate,' he said.
The man refused to leave the spot and repeated that his friend was coming soon.
'I'm not moving anywhere if you're not leaving,' the driver said.
The man still refused to give way as the driver's patience quickly began to wear off and he demanded to know where the other car was.
Eventually, the standoff came to an end when the man was forced to make way for the driver to use the space.
'You can't do this alright,' the driver said.
Footage of the incident which was later uploaded to Facebook where social media users slammed the man trying to reserve the parking spot.

'I'd just drive into the space as if they weren't there,' one wrote.
'Good on the driver for pushing - out of principle,' another added.
'The pedestrian is totally wrong'.
Others chimed in and said the driver would have been better off finding another parking space.
Some argued his vehicle could have been later damaged because he took the space.
'He would of done something to the car if he got that spot not worth the headache,' one wrote.
'Why bother. Soon as you park there he'll scratch your car or let down the tyres,' another argued.
